With all due respect to ELH, who I absolutely love, the very best version of this song is by Jennifer Warnes. I have it on the Rob Wasserman CD called Duets. Give it a listen. It is a haunting and beautiful rendition of this Leonard Cohen song and it will stay with you forever.

nope, they're still pulling them (this is my husband that posted this). I disputed the pulling of this, using their dispute form, because the use of this video falls under the "fair use doctrine" of the U.S. Copyright Act (17 US Code Section 107. So far, they have reinstated it. But who knows if they'll pull it again.
