Ugh, what the Hell is with these people who hate goths coming to these videos to try and tell them not to dress how they want to? I dressed goth in high school but am now more of a jeans and band t shirt type, but I don't see why anybody should give a flying fuck ether way. I've been a goth for about 3 years now, I love MCR, and I don't understand why so many Goths hate them. It's OK to like some bands that aren't goth...you won't lose any "goth cred" (even though it doesn't exist) I just wish these Babybats would calm themselves down, and stop trying so hard and acting so UCG!

I've been in the goth scene for about 6 years now. I know people from now beeting 16 years old, up to people now in their 40s. I know people with degrees in psychologie, informatics, laws, economics, as wel as some very good mechanics, stukadoors and cooks.

One thing you must learn is that goth is not a fashion sense, its a state of mind. Enjoyment of the culture and understanding of the mindset, not the clothes. @tylerhaunted It's hard to do so in America because most of the populous (European Descent-70%) are glorifying the african american urban sub culture, using it as a guidance for how to walk, talk, dress and behavioral habits. Europeans on the other hand have little to none of that, I know, I lived in Germany for over a year. They are also in the heart of "Goth" with all of the history and architecture. If you haven't been to Germany I would suggest doing so, its beautiful.

This is a spoof video. Multiple video's have been used. Scenes from Bela Lugosi, Chris Lee and Gary oldman as Dracula, but also a fragment from the Urban Legend movie.

The fragments with Seraphim Shock singing, orgins from their After Dark video.

And the after dark video is based on the classic gothic horrormovies we had in the 50ies and 60ies. ;)
