@princeofpersia229 Alan Merrill wrote the song was the original artist to release the song in 1975 with his band the Arrows. Joan Jett covered the song in 1981 seven years later. This is a recent TV performance of Alan Merrill doing his song "I Love Rock N Roll" again on television in November 2010.
We all love Rock and Roll....xpressing a tone that is ready for dance: but not crossing the line to things unheard of. Keep it under control, Always. Play safely.
nice!! i wasnt exactly thrilled with the thought of a remake of such a classically cool song, because usually its shameful , and out of tune i hate pathetic attemots at other peoples music, but it doesnt sound like a wanna be copy of joan jette, it sounds like dude has his own bad as song with the same lyrics! Awesome!!
I like this better than Joan's version. Well done. Great voice and guitar; Not pretentious, but very natural. This should have been the big hit over here.
COOL

Is Alan the original singer for this song? I should have know that Joan Jett did not write it.
And the line "put another dime in the jukebox " makes more sense in 1975 than the mid eighties for Joan.
Thanks for forwarding this to me.
