Gotta say people are getting over the much abused and overdone scream scream post hardcore melodic pop chant shit that's going on (watered down versions of the utter bad ass energy unleashed through 90's punk), electro influences are the latest addition to this dying fad (of which many great bands were spawned don't get me wrong) soon stuff like Boys Night Out and Pop punk shit will likely make a comeback. Either way this song rules

Problem is the more a band is "known" the labels in a sense want a certain style to appeal to a greater audience. Also it is noted that bands have a better chance with changing their sound a bit rather than producing the same style of music over and over as it can become repetitive. I liked this CD, I just didnt like the fact it was BNO doing it. As the band progresses their musical influences and tastes also change so its very hard to keep playing the same kind of tone.

It's a shame that this band broke up. This band has totally inspired me. It's a pity that people waste their time bitching, instead of engaging in their own creative work. And only after the artists/bands are gone, can they appreciate the work. BNO will be playing a reunited show in Canada this October, however. I am going. Critics have to build clubs and feel like they are in a special club. Such a stupid mentality.

actually, unfortunetly they did break up. I know from a friend of a friend. Seriously. Their fans kept dissing their current work, and when it would age, they would appreciate it. It happened with all of their releases so they got tired of it cause their "fans" didnt seem to give a rats ass. So they split up and didnt tell their fans because of how they were treated. Now they are all doing their own thing...check out Skittlebrau for Connor lol

Their lyrical and musical style completely changed, not to mention they admitted to not being able to play 'The Only Honest Love Song' live. you can't really compare any of the cd's. they all have the same boys night out sound that they are known for, but every one of them is different. if you're somebody who likes it when a band's albums all sound close to the same, then you might not like BNO. otherwise you have to appreciate how they change from each record
