  • No offense to you, but this is the most insanely long process of doing Lightsaber effects I have seen thus far. During the time it took for you to give us the example of how to do it with Gimp, I could've had at least 30 or more frames rendered using LSMaker, a program specifically designed for lightsaber effects. It might be something you want to look into. ;)
