not bad. wouldn't have won but not bad. there were some pieces i liked but overall it wasn't bad. it was sooo much better than jerells and suedes though
this collection is not cohesive WHAT sso ever. told no type of story. YES they were wearable absolutely. but very boring, didnt seem like he challenged himself too much to leave his comfort zone. it almost looked lik he was designing for 5 totally different personalities. but none the less good for him to makin it to bryant park which many of us designers wish we could do.
His collection is very wearable. It's not an exciting collection at the least, but very wearable. He can have his clothes everywhere from macy's to penny's. Sometimes it's about just working and getting your work out. Most women would wear most things up there. And most would look good in a size 6-8-12 or 14. A few may still look good in larger sizes.
Gosh the sheer amount of ANTM models that were selected for this show is amazing! Bianca, Danielle, Eugena, Naima and probably a few more slipped in there just for fun! Woah weirdness!
Joe took me by surprise!! This isn't what he had showed on the previous eps. I love this dark & metal rock and roll style! It's timeless (okay, it's not as original and refreshing as Leanne's, I admit) I'd wear every piece except that brown short dress (where did that come from?!)
The taste is questionable for sure but at least he can make clothes. If anyone saw Suede's collection, what a disastrous embarrassment, after seeing that runway show, this looks like Oscar De La Renta. It's easy to see why they didn't make it into the final 3 but the real question is, how did they make it onto the show? With thousands of people auditioning, I find it really hard to believe that there were not actual talented designers that could have made it onto the show in place of them.
If I saw this collection in Charlie's Angels 4, I would think it's fabulous. It's like something comic book or cartoon Rogue (X-Men fame) would wear. It's not very high fashion, but it's not bad. People would buy these clothes. I have seen many of the looks before, and I don't know what he was thinking with that gold jacket/orange corduroy pant ensemble. I think overall it is a handsome collection that looked to be well tailored. Plus it has just a hint of dominatrix, which I like.
I do like that his models were a bit curvier, and strong walkers too... I don't think it was as bad as previous posters were saying. However, it wasn't especially modern... it reminded me of a cross between old GUESS? and Thierry Mugler... in the 1980s... it's a shame because there were some nice touches in this show. I am so tired of spindly models staggering down the runway like cicadas with hair
Even though I never cared for Joe, I have to admit, his collection was very wearable. However, there was too much of the same look. He should have done less of the pants.
Are you kidding me! Nothing about his collection was fashion, it was everyday walmart clothes. Sorry, this was pretty terrible, not as bad as Suede's though.
ok..it looks like that joes collection was more wearable..it almost has a COYOTE UGLY inspiration. plus it seemed like he had more of a loud cheer from the audience then the other designers. in my opinion, if joe was in the running, he prolly wouldve won and yes his models actually were having a blast with lots of personality walking the runway.
Fab! I think that this collection is very wearable. love love love the corset and jeans. he makes for a practical women, not just movie stars and crazy events. I love it!
Joe made a decent collection...do I think it's Bryant Park worthy? I think people want to see something fresh, a glimpse of the near future. However I will say that it's a realistic collection with beautifully made pieces. I'd wear it!!!
I think this was a cool collection -- the models were actually smiling and seemed to enjoy wearing these looks. Was his last model the one that Leanne gave up? She's gorgeous, Leanne was a fool to give her up.

There are some good ones in this collection actually. The music is yuck... it does not fit his collection in my opinion.

A lot of these outfits remind me of the clothes from Coyote Ugly. That's not exactly a good thing.

Better than some finalists, i think.
Still, not the most commercially friendly collection, and it's a little old-fashion...
Thought anyone?

I think leanne won coz she was the only one who had a well made collection, and her collection was harmonious.

This is not NY Fashion Week material.
More like ... outlet material.

cos NY fashion week was ahead of the scheduled finale on tv, so they didn't want the top 3 to be leaked so they ask the final 5 to all show.
I know it kind of sucks.

Love love LOOOOOOVE Joe's collection!! It's actually wearable, which is definitely a change from what's usually on the runway.
I wish he would've stayed around longer, Joe certainly deserved that Top 4 spot way more than Kenley >:(
mistyladybug 3 years ago
did you even see kenley's wedding and bridesmaid dresses? they were sooooo fierce. there is nothing glam about cowgirls and cowhide.
