It's kind of weird that Matthew comes over whenever sir Richard yells at Mary.

I understand the spinal shock, but I think it was just too convenient for Lavinia to die. It gives Matthew and Mary a chance to reunite and marry. As for Sir Richard Carlisle, I think he murdered Vera Bates. Carlisle does not care who gets the blame.

What is going to be the resolution of the Canadian who claims to be the cousin who really should inherit Downton? I cannot see this just being dropped. Somehow this claim must be validated or not. Downton Abbey has great acting! When is season 3?

What miracle happens that Matthew walks again? The last episode in the U.S. shows him paralyzed and impotent. I know I have watched a spoiler, but I will not tell my husband.

When Matthew gets down on one knee the look on Mary's face is just beautiful. Gone is the hard, cold exterior or even the worry and heartbreak she's experienced, and left is this pure, innocent happiness that shines through.

This a beautifully made video and I love the clips that you've put in, never too many but never leaving anything out.I've watched all your videos and each is more beautiful than the last. Thank you for letting us watch our favourite Mary&Matthew moments again and again.

Awww!!! I really liked how you broke the video up into two parts -- Mary with Carlisle, and Matthew with Lavinia. The editing was neat -- taking parts of the Pamuk conversation (the Carlisle portions and the ones more pertaining to M/M's relationship). Very creative to have that play after the dance and before the proposal -- almost as if Matthew is sorting it all out in his head before he proposes to her!!! These have been wonderful & lovely music, too!! Keep creating!!! :D

@Fujikorific Thanks! I'm really pleased you liked them. I thought more than anything, the Christmas special was more about Matthew this time than Mary - Matthew finding out about Pamuk, Matthew getting over his guilt/grief with Lavinia, Matthew accepting his feelings for Mary aren't wrong etc. It's a nice contrast to series 2, where it was mainly from Mary's pov. Anyway, glad you liked the Matthew focus!
