Their sanity was restored by the night-elf ritual, covered in the starting zone and in Curse of the Worgen, so them there are sapient minds regardless of their bodies, and they only tend to lose it a bit when they're incredibly stressed (battle scenarios and such). And most of the Gilneans seem to dig their new bodies. I could see a few of them coming up with fancy dance moves just to show off. :P

@SibeirianWolf32 Pick same fraction as your friends. You are probably going to want to play with your friends, and that's impossible if you are on the opposing fraction. If you feel a burning desire to play a wargen, you can always create and level a wargen character on some other realm later on. But my advice: start out on same realm, same fraction as your friends.
