Thank you for posting this.. takes me back to when i was in school in the early and mid 90s in ATL... Used to see outkast goodie and the dungeon family all over.. Even went to an album release @ greenbrier mall..
...I got a lil story about this song. I'm from the bottom of Mississippi and one night i came in drunk as a skunk from the Pas Point Social Club; its about 3:30am and instead of me goin inside, i sat on the back steps and fired up a blunt. As i sat, I heard a faint beat rollin' slow down MLK; as the beat got closer, i could hear a low droppin' bass beat GOING THE FUCK OFF!!! I hit the blunt somemore, then i heard the sweet sound of Cee-Lo sayin' "I don't even know how I'mma eat... ...
ahh to be blessed enough to grow up on hip hop like this..............damn so many fond memories and fonder sounds and stories. WTF happened to this style? It is almost gone from hip hop entirely it makes me wanna scream cry and kill at the same time!!! F_CK!!! But P.P.P. & The " NUOLSKU " is helping keep the memory alive. Check out my hip hop journey video.
One of the greatest hip hop albums to come out of the South. Goodie Mob... vastly underrated. I'll take this content that has real issues.. real meaning.. over the BS coming out today. OG
