This is so beautiful. What a treasure to have footage of happy times and people now gone. As they wave and as the last door closes, it gave me goosebumps and a lump in my throat, it could have been my Grandmother, Phillips aunts and Woods uncles Just beautiful. I'm going to watch it again. p.s. What is the piece of music that accompanies this? Susan
This is such a gift. It made me very emotional. The memories we are making with our children and their cousins in Spring Lake are irreplaceable and timeless. We spend our time at the South End, so have lockers by the South Pavilion Pool and use it. It has not changed at all!
This is just incredibly beautiful. THANK YOU. You are so fortunate to have this footage of your beloved family members!
This is wonderful. Thank you! Film from this era is scarce. The Historical Society and the residents of Spring Lake are fortunate that you and your family have preserved this film and have graciously shared it!!!!!!!!!
Not only does the pavilion look the same...there's a guy standing by the diving board when the little girl (my Aunt) dives in I would SWEAR was Bill Gearty...or his distant relative!
I'm so glad I happened along this video. How wonderful for your family to have this footage, and fortunate for the historical society. The pavillion looks almost the same in some ways doesn't it?
i love it!

The house labeled 215 Madison is the house I grew up in, it should be 214 Madison Avenue. Great video!
