  • Dude just go back to listning to your alvin and chipmumks sing the carpenters records, chicago has had more hits than you could shake a stick at.

Well proberaly not as many hits as your daddy beating you every day but you get the point.

  • GREAAAT! Just what we need ... another 1 Hit Wonder here on You Tube. I think these guys hit it big with this one song ... then milked it from there. MEEEELK!

  • would love to know what kind of crap you listen to if you think this band is a one hit wonder... fool... one of the best bands ever...

  • BEST FEEL GOOD SONG EVER!!

  • This is the best band in the history of history sorta

  • boston is better not the band city

  • Isn't this Tom Hanks and the group Boston who sings this song?

  • yes it is you dumb ass

  • what are both of you smoking?

  • I hope ejb12439 is being sarcastic.

  • In 1972, i was 14 year old and like heard in radio that song between September,October of that year.

  • woman`s bridge

  • This has to be one of the greatest "...feel good songs..." to ever hit my ears! So much nostalgia, great vibe, lyrics, etc. -Give it up for the MUSIC!

  • this actually reminds me of my father too because he loved chicago

  • i was not born when this song came out, but when i hear it i start to think about the times good and bad and at times a tears to my eyes for all the memories and thinking about all the times in the park with all ur good friends having the time of our lives. but this type of music it what i call kool skool... this is for all the geart memories and to the better memories to come;)

  • This reminds me of living in Chicago. :-(

    I miss Chicago so much!

  • de la soul sampled this for- you guessed it - Saturdays was a rolling skating jam

  • Is this a vieo?!

  • Oh my god, this reminds me of being in Sparta, New Jersey... God I miss living there, hope I will move back soon.

  • I love this song reminds me of when I go to play at the courts, I used to love the park so much I literally spent almost everyday at the park for like 2 summers just playing basketball at the park. brings back memories

  • I love this song. It will always remind me of riding with my dad in his Dodge Coronet (in the front seat not wearing seat belts, ha!) in 1974 when I was 4 years old. The message is super positive. I love my dad.

  • that wasnt this song that song was by kansas

  • turned 51 today & what better way to while my time than listenin to 70's music this past 5 hrs or so..great song this Saturday in the Park..great band Chicago!

  • i remember patrick & i drummin' it away during our lab class in junior/senior high 73or was it 74? never ever forgot that day coz of this song -- great song..great chicago!

  • pat and ron always play this

  • all of these songs from Chicago are just awesome and timeless. What a great band!!!

  • acctually thats a good thing to let everyone know that

I knew Chicago Authority but not the other. Great job, Amazing Band

  • Did you know that Chicago started out as "The Big Thing" and then later "The Chicago Transit Authority" before becoming "Chicago"?

  • well... isn't someone smart.

  • Cant help but think of the song Youre all i need to get by by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell when the brass section comes in at the beginning.

  • Is this song dedicated to Vaux and Omlstead?

  • Such a great American band!!!!!

  • Great song ever!

But I cant get the meanings of these phrases

"slow motion riders fly the colors of the day"

"a bronze man still can tell stories his own way"

  • the second one means the black people are the same as white

  • I interprested it as a statue (which can be made of bronze), in a park being able to tell stories kind of in the same vein as "if these walls could talk", since statues can stand the test of time for a long while

  • Love it!

  • It's hard to describe how awesome that piano part is. It's ragged and completely original. This song is just plain awesome.

  • My band director put together an amazing medley of various chicago songs and we're marching it. ITs really great.

  • great song. expressing love between races at last

  • Karen carpenter...........

  • Great song and still going, GREAT JOB CHICAGO!

  • "Another day in the park, I think it was the 4th of july!" CLASSIC!! i love this song!

  • That piano part....Classic!

  • I agree. Well said.

  • Many years ago worked in a nursing home to get through school. One of the residents, a lady in her seventys recovering from a stroke, would spend her days painting. One of her works got my attention. When I asked her about it she said it was called, you guessed it, "Saturdy in the Park". Then she showed her music collection. Chicago's appeal spanned many generations folks!

  • GREAT SONG GUYS!!!!

  • schweet classic song

  • I like this and anything new...minus rap and hip hop...and country

  • Same here. I am more of an alternative and classic rock guy.

  • no thanks im taken

  • oh, how cute.

  • Patritz, if only you knew what real music was, you would be much happier.

  • you are an ignorant fool miles

  • For liking classical rock? I think not.

  • "Patritz, if only you knew what real music was, you would be much happier." - you are saying that your taste in music defines what real music is. I like this song, dont get me wrong, thus i am on here listening to it. However, I like hip hop and other genres so whats wrong with that. miles..

no, i also like this song, thus i am on here too. I happen to lik

  • patritz why did you say fuck you to the guy that said "I like this and anything new...minus rap and hip hop...and country"

I personally think that is very good taste. Really worthy of a fuck you?

Okay forget it, perhaps just a misunderstanding.

  • And you're a fucking parasite.

  • if im a parasite than your the bitch that dies cus i use u up. nice one hoffmania fag

  • both of you are wankers, just both die!!!!

  • seriously, i mean act like adults like what the fuck. i mean really is your problem that epic that you have to bring it online

  • Well you certainly took him seriously enough to respond...both of you are goobers...you are arguing over the INTERNET!!! hahah

  • You're just as guilty as any other party for responding. Don't be a dipstick.

  • Thats it now I'm really upset, a pox on you all, no I was just kidding in the first place anyway, I don't want anyone to die.

  • Chicago has to be one of the best groups ever! i love this song! it is the best!

  • my favourite song! omg

  • elo is good too?

  • This is real good, but there are good artists out there today, you just have to look harder.

  • Great song then...Still a classic! Chicago lives!

  • rite on!

  • The music industry has changed a lot over the years, I don't know if we'll get a wealth of artists making this quality of music again...my parents were spoiled.

  • i do't agree with ya i like all kind of type exept punk and emo

  • omg im 15 also but i love this song so much It is something about the older music and also i am always listening to music like this on the radio becuz my mom is well shes in her 50s so she loves music like this and now i love it too Even though i wasnt born back then I still love it better then todays music what ever happened to the good tunes of music

  • Wow I used to hear this song all the time at demon dogs in Chicago. I used to go there for lunch and all they played were Chicago's songs.

  • That sounds like so much fun :)

  • im a big fan of chicago and i love all of their musics includin this one

  • Is that Peter Cetera singing, or someone else?

  • Bobby Lamm sings lead vocals on this one, with Cetera singing backup. Cetera sings the part that goes "People dancing, people laughing" and "People talking, really smiling."

Chicago had the whole package---vocals, brass, songwriting, style, class, you name it, they had it. We will not see their like anytime soon...

  • I love this Music back in the 70's and the 80's like this song other than this hip hop shit that they play today

  • better than that country shit too

  • I agree with you for the most part, but I'm hoping you'll make the occasional exception for Johnny Cash.

  • I agree with you wholeheartedly, this rap/hip-hop era has to end for the sake of music and music fans.
