  • If only I had my old 3 Dot from the 60's, maybe I could bowl like him. NOT.

  • The lane is walled up. Pull the ball and it sets in the pocket. Send it wide and it comes storming back.

  • Wow, there must be a depression because there is ZERO oil on this lane..the old guy swings it from the 10 board to the 5 board to the edge of the gutter with a bowling ball from 1979 and it keeps hooking back in

  • what a spinnn!!!!! awsome!

  • THIS IS GREAT!!!! THUMBS UP!!

  • thats cool haha thats such an old ass ball and it still is a beast

  • Old ball + dry lanes = good shots.

  • did it say it costed $29.95? nice!

  • thanks for the look at the old ball. this is similar to guppy troup's ball (with the 3 dots, although they were white) that he used when he went against mark roth for the US open. I think it's posted on youtube.

I am still using my old LT48 from high school days; use it for very dry lanes at night league and for experimental practices!!

Those new balls can make an ugly roll turn into powerful strikes. can't hide bad releases in those old balls.

  • my friend has the old johnny petraglia ball

  • Overseas houseshot with wqhat, 15 feet of oil! Try this in the states and it wouldn't wrinkle, not with his hand.

  • @bigyodatheman

He's throwing it VERY slowly, maybe 13mph. Still a 9:00pm house shot though.

  • A lot of people think that the bowling ball has more to do with high averages, but it is the lane condition that has the most effect on scoring. This video proves that, when a 40 year old ball can score like that and he is missing his mark and still striking. Just last year I shot a 750 series with a old blue hammer.

  • You're right..just today I was at the alley and I found an old hammer on the rack, that had 20 year old grips in it (rock solid finger grips too) but I decided to give it a shot and bowled a 237 on my warm-up game with it.

  • jeez were do u bowl at the lanes near me its either alleyball or your ball

  • Riverside Lanes in Danville, VA. I guess someone left it on the the rack a long, long time ago. Probably got tired of it.

You can find a few good things on the rack where I bowl from time to time.

And if you do, always make room in your bag for it :) hahah.

  • @nearpar You know what's even more crazy, this guy drills his own balls in his garage with a damn black and decker real drill.... lol

  • This guy has put this video up here for people to watch...he might not be a good bowler he might well be...noone can base fact on 4:23 seconds of video footage. I bowl myself i have a 180 average and im a tweener. I dont hook it too much but i have a consistant shot...although im left handed my release is similar to his though i admit his release is slightly off. Hes just showing us Shheeeessssh

  • nice

  • whats ur average?????

  • your a great bowler

  • no. no no no no no. he is not. just because somebody films 100 shots, edits in the 20 or so strikes he threw on a fried lane with an old ball does not make a person a great bowler, sorry.

  • haha and you know this was a fried lane and he edited it how????

  • well for one, its not one solid piece of footage, theres no telling how many shots it took him to throw that many strikes. and two, its an old rubber ball. the only way they hook is either the lanes are completely fried, or you rev the crap out of the ball...which obviously this guy doesnt. any bowling knowledgeable person would agree. but what are you...like 8? dont comment on things that are out of your league kid.

  • haha out of my league haha

    you my friend need help

just because the vid is up and someone commented on it doesnt mean you need to argue

just shut your mouth and grow up

    bowling kwowledgebale?? whos 8???

just shut your mouth i dont have to explain myself to a stupid fuck like yourself.

  • im not arguing because you commented on the video. im stating a fact because this man is not, by any means, a great bowler. and you dont have to explain yourself, however that overreaction.....please, explain that lol. everybodys a tough guy from the security of internet anonimity. and really, a stupid fuck like myself? youre basing this opinion off of a youtube comment, and an accurate one at that....and IM the stupid fuck? lol good luck with allll that man...

  • ha ha sometimes an overreaction is needing to express power. I do like the way you say everybody's a tough guy from the security of internet anomity though its true, maybe your not the dumb fuck. you still cant tell me that that what your saying is true and that this guys vid is not. He would come on here and say that his vid is true and your comment is not its human nature to disagree. My point is you can't prove your shit and he cant prove his.

  • did you want to express power? or anger...but seriously, look at his form, his release, his accuracy and mechanics or lack thereof...its fairly obvious this guy is not a good bowler. and to throw that many strikes with that type of ball without being norm duke or walter ray williams is gonna take a hell of a lot of shots and a hell of a lot of bad shots or non strikes edited out of the vid. i dont need to prove anything, the video is proof enough.

  • and if you dont think i know what im talking about, just go to my channel on here. i have some info that might fill u in as to how much i know about the game.

  • and i really, really hate arguing on the internet lol. it was once said "arguing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics. win or lose, youre still retarded." i wasnt trying to start an argument with my original comment. i just highly disagree with your analysis of his bowling skill. strikes doesnt always equal skill. as idiotic and illogical as that sounds, it holds true. thats why alot of house bowlers can average 225. not cause theyre good, but house shots are cake

  • wow...looks great
