In today's television speech, Stephen Harper, on one hand, warned Canadians that Dion and the Liberals were working with the SEPARATIST Bloc Quebecois, in the english speech. On the other hand, in the french speech, Harper warned Canadians, or more specifically french canadians, that Dion and the Liberals were a SOVEREIGN party, and thus would not help the Bloc in achieving independance. He's an honest man, but a horrible leader (I like him as a individual) but he doesn't have a defintive vision for the country.

Yeah Harper does have traditional values, he seems to love his family very much. I will give him that. It's just that he is very rigid in his thinking and doesn't allow anyone other then him to voice their opinion. And he's also extremely calculating. Look at how he cut off all connections with Brian Mulroney! Mulroney is one the great leaders of the Conservative Party (even if it was PC).

Ok... so Harper gives 90% or more of his interviews to US Networks and you claim that Ignatieff just LOVES the US? please... Harper has been playing up to the US the entire time he has been in office.... and loyal to his Country? He wasn't even a proud Canadian before he crossed from Opposition to Leader of Parliament. IF Harper ever gets a majority the first thing you'll see go is national health care, then education, then the arts... and thats just the beginning.

The problem is that to many people, such as yourself, take them at face value. I don't even like Ignatieff, but I know enough not to trust a word of a conservative ad without doing my own research. Unfortunately Harper is a terrible leader, the problem is we have no one who could do much better, or worse.

All the things we cherish in Canada were initiated/introduced by the NDP/Liberals (EI, universal health care, Canada Pension). None of these were thanks to Conservatives! Harper avoided parliament and ran away from the coalition government, which is better for democracy than just one minority government. Media is used as propaganda to get votes in the polls, something is wrong here.
Does Harper even have a conscience? Does he even care enough about the families who send their brave sons and daughters to fight in the war? There is an economic crisis, people are losing jobs, losing homes and he backs down to make a budget in late January?

Okay, this is to all of you who will blindly follow Stephen Harper wherever he goes. In today's television speech, Stephen Harper, on one hand, warned Canadians that Dion and the Liberals were working with the SEPARATIST Bloc Quebecois, in the english speech. On the other hand, in the french speech, Harper warned Canadians, or more specifically french canadians, that Dion and the Liberals were a SOVEREIGN party, and thus would not help the Bloc in achieving independance.
