I was able to pass through that part,needed to restart from last checkpoint and upgrade my magic befere the Kratos is shown first fight with Zeus or it crashes (WTF???),anyway i stand by my opinion,as the cutscenes are still crashing as hell...10 or 15 minutes to run a 2 minutes cutscene... :S

Yeah i hapenned to me but i found a solution,i have a fat PS2,and i taked of the plastic cover of the superior lens,and with a cotton swab with alchool in it (the wound healing kind XD),rubbed between the tho lenses (upper and hidden lens) and your PS2 must work as new,reading almost everything...

Each time you use the R1 trigger on the blade, it'll suck away a different part of Kratos' powers. First it takes away all of the Red orbs, reducing the Athena's Blades to level 1. It then takes away your magic. Lastly, it cuts your HP in half
