Why are they being tested for brucellosis? Are they killed when they test positive? I bet they are, but I would appreciate a UDWR response.
Brucellosis is a cattle disease that spread to bison, but has never been transmitted from wild bison to back cattle (except for one time in a lab). Its not a threat. However, the cattle industry likes to create brucellosis hysteria as a proxy for the fight over who gets to graze on federal land...cattle or buffalo.
