hope the anemone is doing well. I just wanted to politely point out the you really need a major increase in water movement, and likely lighting for this anemone to do well. You can't have too much of either in this case, but too little and it has no chance.
There are some very insightful forums/websites with tons of information on keeping anemones. Please check them out....
Leroyjhonson124 I had the same prob with my tomato clowns and anemone they were a pair in the shop and they were bickering in the bag and when in my rose bubbletip anemone so just wait they will sort things out nice tomato clown and bubbletip anemone
did any one here about the clown fish that got out of its tank and ate its master.... sure there cute.. but give them the chance and they will eat you.
nice. i just bought a tomato clown and a bubble tip anemone today. they are both doing find, but the tomato hasn't gone anywhere near it yet..... :/ is that okay? how long does it take for the clown to go to the anemone?
A just bought a BTA and for some reason it 'hides' behind rocks where there is hardly any light. I have a 12 gallon eclipse tank with two clownfish and it has been running for about 3-4 months. The BTA is small and lime green but it keeps hiding inside my live rock. Should I move it? Help Please!
so how is it doing now? i heard you should have your tank up and running for 6 months to a year before you add an anemone....and when first adding an anemone leave it alone for a full week don't touch it, move it, or feed it.
Get a bigger tank and a more established one... it will die. Your water quality is probably sub par along with your lighting with the eclipse hood. You bought an anemone with out the research and meeting its needs sadly your killing it.
Yeah, guy at the lfs told me that a 12 gallon eclipse would be 'perfect', as long as it sits for about 3 months. Well, its a good thing I didn't totally believe him.
Let time take its course, if you have to males the bigger one will become the female and then they may be a couple. Just takes time for them to adjust. Nice fish and a good looking anemone. Just remember to really keep a good waterquality when dealing with anemonies! Good luck!

any idea why one of my clowns wont let the other one touch the anemone?

Are the clowns the same species? Were they already adults when you bought them? You might have two males therefore a conflict of interest.
