@Paperhouse81 no the new SP album, its great, the new stuff recently sucked cause it really was billy winging it solo, now hes actually got a legit band with great chemistry together so the new album is actually really good

granted weve only heard 6 songs so far but they are all great, quasar is pretty much cherub rock of a new generation

@jsh020 Maybe not to you, because you dont fathom the chemistry part of it. But when you keep cycling and recycling a name (Smashing Pumpkins in this case) that belonged to an original set of members, it looks rather desperate and foolish. Music-wise (and this is where you come in) perhaps it sounds good and "fresh"...because we all love "fresh" now dont we?

bands lose members all the time and it snot like pumpkins original members left all at once, besides even billy said to the day he eventually leaves the band/dies he still wants someone to replace him and keep the band alive,

quiit being stuck in the past and listen to some 90's sounding new songs

@jsh020 Well, yea, i understand what you mean. I just find it disrespectful of Billy to call them "Smashing Pumpkins" when they are clearly not. Now, i haven't heard any of the new stuff AT ALL to be quite honest, so i cannot argue with you about the sound of the new stuff. I am only debating the prostitution of the name "Smashing Pumpkins".

@Paperhouse81 ok ill act mature here, complaing just cause of a name is just stupid, jeust give the songs a try, like i said the newer stuff sucked cause he didnt have a aactual band, zeitgeist was just billy and jimmy with some random others, then teargarden was just billy and mark tulin(rip)

oceania he has a actual band with chemistry, i am looking at the chemistry side and the new band has it as much as the old one did(pre adore obviously, after that the band had AWFUL chemistry,)
