I remember this guy....the show was phoney....it was all for sensationalism and laughs that people of low charecter would find amusing. I disgree with most comments here that sight him as the fore-runner of limbaugh, savage and others of that ilk....they may have barrowed some aspects of him but he was more the fore-runner of the jerry springer show and viewers he appealed to.it was all staged like springer.
@TheBabyboomkidof53 what is the difference. what the hell is more phoney than, limpbag, savagette, and the others. at least with springer, people with a brain, know that it is bullshit. and i think your analogy,is full of crap.
This was a presentation film that was sent by the show's producers or duistributors to stations interested in picking-up the show and/or to prospective sponsors.
Most of Joe Pyne's content pre-dates me, so I have not seen this show apart from the clips seen here, but the closest parallel I can think of would be Morton Downey Jr.'s show. Even the use of the "docks" in Pyne's program matches up to the use of the "Big Mouth" in Downey. Strangely, I think both of them died of lung cancer from smoking not long after their respective shows ended.
Great video of the master of the first kind of talk radio on tv. I was too little to remember Joe Pyne because when he was on between 1965-1969 they said on the website I was between 3-6 years old. He reminds me of the Morton Downey show that was on in the 80s where Morton would make all his guests look bad and provoke them to make them mad. Wally Georges show Fight Back was the same way. Too bad Joe died too early. He should not have smoked.
This guy is a fucking dictator. Anyone who thinks this guy is great is an imbecile. Joe Pyne uses his position to brow beat his opposition. Schoolyard bully tactics don't work for long.
@Rotpig You are quite possibley the stupidest fascist leftist fucktard to ever live you and your entire bs bcult has been discreidted time and again no w go die you stupid faggot bitch
The beginning of a 1967 "JOE PYNE SHOW", {originally telecast in color on videotape}, which became one of the most notorious talk shows in syndication during the late '60s. Pyne could be a very vicious man on camera, and was never shy in letting his audience know how he felt about certain people and issues....

Joe Pyne used to hang out at the Pershing Square men's room and suck off winos, sailors, other fags, and conservative Republicans.
