i think the biggest difference has not much to do with the machine as swing on the right he has a huge closed stance which would explain the swing changes compared to new swing nothing to do with the plane machine?????

Unfortunately, there is two different target and camera angles in these videos.

although the player takes the club back too much on the inside, he actually is bang on plane on the downswing.....can you comment on this please??

While this players downswing is not that bad on this swing, he was having a problem consistently getting on plane on the downswing due to the backswing being to inside and getting across the line at top. So for this player the machine really benefits him to get into good positions on the way back and at the top resulting in a more repeatable swing.
