I was in the hall ! It's the forth time i listen to Volodos in Brussels. I have no words ....

@micheldanel I saw him in 2004, 2009 and 2011. I believe he also played in 200 or 2001. A close friend of Arcadi, who was also present at the concert talked to him after the concert and Arcadi himself said that he played very very bad. I think he's very critical for himself but I guess that is normal on that level. maybe I should play for him, than he knows what bad actually means!

@masterofsynapsis I was there too. The 1st time he came to Brussels was in 2000. I was 14 at the time, but it was probably one of the best recitals I've ever attended. He played Schubert's Sonata D894 (I still remember his first chords sounding like something totally out of this world) some Rachmaninov, Liszt's 2nd Ballade and the 13th HR. It was quite a special night, the audience was so enthusiastic that he gave at least 10-12 encores among which the Carmen Variations and the Bumblebee Etude.
