3.75 for drive ability?? What is with that? An adjustable suspension that is very comfortable considering this is a mid-engined race car. Also, it has more combined front and rear trunk volume than a new Honda Accord. That's practical. I would at least up that score to a 4.00 or 4.25 (any more and that would be too much).

A low score for "drivability" because it's hard to get in and out? Driving is what you do when you're IN! Besides, it's a SPORTS CAR you jackwagons! I'm 58 years old and just bought a 2007 Cayman S with only 6000 miles on it. It's my everyday driver, and a PRIVILEGE to get in and out of, no matter how hard it is!

I have the 2007 Cayman S, my husband has a 2006 Carerra S, and we love things about both of them. Can't complain about anything on either of them except no ipod jack, but big deal, right? They're both awesome to drive, something I never thought I would ever do in my life!

Add up the price of the 911 engine, plus the turbos, plus w/e they use for the variable turbo technology, plus installation. This will never be available for the cayman through porsche though because it will greatly affect sales of the 911 which has been in the factor for over 40 years?

The 911T engine would not fit in the Cayman. The Cayman is a mid-engine design. The 911 engines are much too tall and would drag on the ground.

This review propegates the myth that ride height drops at the press of a button, it doesn't... all PASM equipped cars ride a whopping .39" lower, always... "Looks like the original 911"... yeah, that's a wish... lol

F1,Le Mans, Veyron, Enzo, Zonda, Carrera GT, F430, NSX,what do they have? All these cars are MR platforms, so for pure driving pleasure MR gives the best. All other platorms have their weaknesses and some form of critisism. But rarely do you hear any of MR cars. Best Motoring 1/4mile tests Z4M & CaymanS. Both cars do 13.0 flat out even when the beemer has 40more BHP.

basic and superficial analysis... yeah, the bmw has 40 more bhp, but 0.2 liters less, which means less torque, wich practically means less acceleration. Also, the Cayman has much more weight on the back weels, which gives it more grip. There you have the true reasons, and don´t follow so much the power numbers when analysisng acceleration... Or remember how the old S4 blastered the old M3 in 80-120 km/h with barely 1 hp +, but 1 full litre larger engine!

I have to back spineboy I stand at 6 foot 8 inches and drive a Cayman S everyday of my life with ease porsches are made for everyone they are in my personal experience the best car manufactor in existence except of course for Ferreri and Lambo and even those cars I have test driven and could fit into with ease although the Cayman is much more roomey Cayman S gets 10/10 from me but then again I do own one so im biased a bit.

How on earth did it only get 4.25 for performance? less than 5 seconds 0-60, top speed 170+, and probably the best handling production car currently made. (see R&T slalmon course record held by Boxster S) My Boxster is my daily drive - very comfortable and I'm 6'4"

what do you mean? thats a good score, its not that fast and many cars beat it. You have to leave some room for even better cars like the GT3 or Turbo or Z06.
