  • hiya is ja lustig

  • This video is totally wrong! There are at least two different axles in a turbofan. The low-pressure turbine powers the low-pressure compressor and the fan. The high-pressure turbine powers the high-pressure compressor. There for the rotation speed of these axles is different.

  • I'm missing some parts..

  • wow so helpful it is all clear now

  • so komme aus münchen

  • DUDE, BOEING OR AIRBUS, DECIDE !

  • Comment removed

  • U animated a turbofan with turbojet functionality

  • nun komme aus münchen

  • modelling 10 hours, rendering 3 hours, 26 seconds of bad animation...........priceless ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,for everyone else theres mastercard

  • Stupid Animation i'll finish this model, effects and render within 15mint...

  • congrats!

  • what is the difference between a turbo fan and a turbo jet engine?

  • @Desmonddd2002 The "fan"... (the large fan on the front of the engine here...)

  • get a life

  • Nice... I feel you on how long it takes to create and render 3D models...

  • I really learned alot

  • Basically there is so much "bypass" in this engine that it acts like a turboprop.

  • @faffaflunkie but unlike a propeller, because the fan is enclosed within the engine, you don't get the massive loss of power and increased drag that a propeller suffers when the blades themselves start passing the speed of sound.

  • @cantroos The blades in a turboprop exceed the speed of sound because of their larger diameter which causes the tips of the blades to cover a wider distance. This disturbs the air flow causing inefficiency. What is animated here is simply a small propeller within a casing, or "nacelle" in aircraft terminology. The thrust from the "jet" is negligible in most passenger aircraft or "jet" helicopters. If what was pictured was a true "jet engine" there would be afterburners included in the design.

  • @faffaflunkie well that's just semantics, everyone calls any turbine engine on an airplane a jet engine.

  • @cantroos The point is it is false advertising. If people knew that what they were really flying on was actually a propeller driven craft they (the flying public) would likely opt for ground transportation. Go ahead. If you are ever in an airport try telling someone that they are really flying in a prop airplane. I'm sure even most of the crew members don't even know what a "fan jet" is or that it is technically just a prop aircraft. Airline pilots now are just the same suits you see every day.

  • @faffaflunkie Lol, I'm sure if you told some guy waiting to board the plane that his plane had propellers instead of jet engines he'd say "Screw this I'm going to the bus station!"

  • @cantroos I have. They did not believe me. Next time I will tell the pilot he is not flying the high performance plane he signed up to fly and instead he (the pilot) is flying an economy model. If this fact (that passenger aircraft are not jets) ever becomes common knowledge then you will see people vote for high speed rail. The whole (airline) industry will just collapse. As for your comment about taking ground transportation, most people hate to fly and would avail themselves of other options.

  • @faffaflunkie well high speed rail isn't practical in North America due mostly to the vast distances. Maybe you could use it to link up huge centres in the North East, but building high speed rail lines all across the country is not feasible, far too expensive. They did a cost estimate on a high speed rail line in Southern Ontario and it was something like $35 billion dollars. Not going to happen until the economy really starts soaring again, whenever that is...

  • @cantroos Gates could afford that with billions to spare. If all the billionaires weren't hoarding all the money, we could do it. :-)

  • @TheMrBlinx I believe thats called communism

  • @faffaflunkie most people love flying it/s the TSA that's poisoining the experience .

  • @circusboy90210 Well they (the TSA) won that last round. Now the pilots and federal officials can bypass screening while the public get's the rubber glove. Funny, no one ever felt me up on the train.

  • @faffaflunkie yes the citizens have lost once again when it comes to illegal search & seizure. treating all citizens as potential terrorist by invading their privacy in a private vehicle(747 737 a380 etc.) , confiscating (stealing) private property we have all lost our civil libertys so hard fought for . this is an insult to our troops.

  • @circusboy90210 just noticed & federal officials?? whats to stop a federal official from being corrupt enough?? or have family threatened to plant some type of device just as any supposed non terrorist citizen ???? once it was said that everybody has a price.

  • i dont understand :s

  • Nice. But confused one thing: where was the fire coming from?

  • @krayzeejojo see the flame, there's little red lines ahead of them, the injectors are just before that, most of the flame would be invisible.

  • Я такое смоделю и отрендерю за 10 минут

  • schon cool lol

  • ?????

  • WOW!

  • I see overlapping textures D:

  • i think its cool that the shadow of the impeller looks real

  • ???

  • cool

  • modeling for pictures in a game is one thing. Modeling for accurate data is another.

  • 3 hours of rendering time? Every shitty computer game can render in this quality in REAL TIME. I can not get the point why it is so time consumptive here

  • There's a big difference between a hardware render (what you see in games) and a software render.

The 3 hours render time is high, but not surprising. It should be able to be cut down to 30 minutes or so with lower anti-aliasing, or lower lighting settings (e.g. lower dmap resolution, lower raytracing depth, etc).

The modeling time is certainly too long, however. Practice makes perfect, though.

  • with modeling you mean the particles , too ?

    or only the mesh ??

if only mesh you are a noob . . .

  • hwo about you do this? NOOB

  • your comment was immature, you will never do something like this. noob

  • That's how all jets work. A system of SSBB (Suck Squeeze Bang Blow)

  • that sounds sexual

  • haha yeah it those...

  • I think it's a fine demo of how this popular jet really works, which is not what most think. Thanks.

  • This Vid is ok. though it diddnt show much. and why did u even put this on anyways? what is the reason?

  • Your title makes perfect sense ignore Dumbass PlaneAU

  • 13 hours for 26 seconds

    lol

  • @sdrfgvrfgvsfravgdsvS actually 17 seconds. The title screens took half a second to make.

  • Maybe if he didn't make it fire you wouldn't get the idea what he was trying to show? Which happens to be where the injectors are and the general flow of the heat. By the way, I bet that would light a doobe REAL GOOD! Not to mention, trimming your beard! Good job, Easywaytv, looks like you put a lot of work into it.

  • your title makes no sense, go to school.
