  • Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Thankyou heavenly Father for sending your son to earth.

  • like this song...

  • grrrrreat song

  • Amen, through no one else is salvation possible!! Jesus lives!!! Muhammad is dead.

  • Hebrew:Yeshua Greek Lesu (pronounce as Jesu) as in Latin Jesu, and aramaic Yeshu, in those 4 languages the gospel was first spread, and alsof written in those four languages, wich comes from the word Savior / He shall Save, mashiach, Messiah / Christ came from the word Anointed One

  • the names that God gives, describes what he will do who he is,

the name of the Lord when he came in the flesh means The anointed Savior / He shall save in greek u pronounce it as Jesu kristos, and write it as Lesu the letter J did not exist in greek

the gospel was written in the 4 languages that Jesus spoke to, Greek, Hebrew, Latin, and aramaic, wich was also written in those languages on the cross, the meaning of his name is who he is, and what he came to do, The Anointed One He shall save

  • What a wonderful song of praise!

  • GLORY TO THE SON WHO CAME TO EARTH TO DIE :D

  • I love this song!

  • He will be praised from that day, even forever. Glory and Honor and Power unto the Lord, Christ Jesus ever more.

  • i LOVE 2:23 :D

  • Other transliterations commonly heard in English often include Yeshua, Yeshu, Yehoshua, Yahshua, Y'hoshua, Jeshua, Joshua, and Jesú, perhaps among others.

  • Actually His name in His native tongue was most likely ישוע, though some scholars suggest varying renditions of the name. Of course, the name recorded by Holy Scripture is Ἰησοῦς, as the New Testament writings were recorded in Koiné Greek.

Jesus is the most common translation of those words into English. The Most Holy Name of God Almighty was never spoken; a euphemism was always used. Now the Name has been forgotten to history. It's what's behind the name, not the pronunciation, that counts.

  • @LivinTheHylife thats very interesting. Do you know the other translations?

  • The name of the Son of the MOST HIGH is YAHushua.
