If you want the same case as this for a lot less, Otterbox has their waterproof line of cases on their website...it is just a case (without the screen), so you would have to take your phone out of the case to use it, but it works the same as this case....waterproof and crushproof..,I got mine for 10 bucks! (most of the time I drop my phone when I am transporting it, not using it, so this case works great for me!)

Slab test was good but played into the design of case, as impact is primarily on the edges, not the screen, and is gradual, as part of slab is already resting on ground.

Agree most impacts are on edges, ie when you drop it, and that's what causes most screen cracks, curious as to impact protection of the screen layer itself?

If using it underwater, use a packet of silica gel to avoid internal condensation

This perfect case you have found is fantastic and I know when I would use it... fit it to my motorbike and use the TomTom app and just use my bluetooth helmet headset. Will look into that:-) but I must say your tests were very brave indeed!

As I said in the video - its not an every day case. Its for the one-off occassion and when your doing extreme sports. Hey, you could be doing it for a living (army etc) - this case is perfect.
