Daniel Craig is in my top 3 Bond's. First Connery, then Craig, then Brosnan and Dalton :p. Craig grew on me after watching casino royale like 10 times i liked him more and more. can't wait till bond 23 :D

Great chase. The best part of the film... as is any car chase in any film. I hate to see the DBS damaged but it warms my heart to see the Aston Martin make it out alive while many shitty Alfa Romeo's die in the process :)

I love most of the Bond films and actors but Sean Connery & Daniel Craig were and are the best Bonds. They look like they could fight and win a fight. They have the look of Bond. I like the rage and the quickness of Daniel Craig's Bond. I don't miss Money Penny or the corny one liners of the 90's films. I liked Q.O.S but the film was chopped together and the story line needed some work. Craig did an amazing job but the story suffered. What I want to see is a Villain that can fight Bond.

Daniel Craig is great, but there seems to be something missing from the new Bond movies.

The gadgets. That or the chases are dragged out too long to follow the story.

Roger Moore flashes a polite smile with a nod to the bad guys, Pierce has that suave expression. As for Craig, I love how he always has that scowl.

Really poor directing and editing of this scene. They shook the camera around to add a sense of movement, and chopped up every shot into 1/4 second bits. What do you expect from a director who admitted he wasn't into Bond flicks . See the chase scene in Ronin (on youtube) for a properly done tunnel scene.

ummm if the demand for movies is inelastic, then piracy doesn't really harm the industry. For those who actually watch movies at theaters, they pay a higher relative price as the industry sets the price in order to regain the lost transaction costs.

Yes, but they lose the potential profits or simply sales, for legally released DVDs. The ticket sales as a gross do not go directly go to filmmakers, but the threatres and suppliers/intermediateries take a big chunk as well. I think the demand for movies is elastic, in DVDs as pirated DVDs are being bought for much cheaper prices, hence they dont pay the recommended retail price for original DVDs, again causing losses for the filmmakers/industry etc.

If you know anything about math and graphs ... then you would understand that they may potentially make more profit selling a smaller quantity at a higher price. Therefore, piracy does help the industry in a dark way for they can charge a higher price.

I understand the dynamics of statistics/accounting for business, and the environment including the impact of competitve pressure. Yes definitelty, no doubt the world is saturated with controversy. There's also the advertising/promotion for movies/programs on original DVDs which are a source of revenue for other movies. I do agree with you about higher prices putting things on an even keel up to a certain point. Thanks for your responses though!

I've been wondering. Take a look at the car sequence in Die Another Day and you'll see no damage being done to the Vanquish, and this is despite the fact it took in way more damage than the DBS has.

Total wasted opportunity. Movie has a boring premise. Hoarding water... yeah, right. Yawn. Plus, they don't even use Olga that well, or that much. And they turned this Ukranian her into a South American ???? What gives?

The scene in the hotel -- the hotel itself, and then the "oilfinger" bit afterwards, was okay.
