@edwards21416 cool story based on your comment: appalachian english is the closest thing to middle english still spoken today. the dialect has been so isolated for so long that there has been very little drift. case in point, they still say "hit" instead of "it." anyhow i love that fleet foxes takes a kind of middle english sound and marries it to mountain rock. glad you picked up on it :D
