Little shibas love nipping other dogs when they play, no matter the size! And that's fine when it's other shibas they are playing with (or a husky or something with a thick coat), but it gets them into trouble when the other dog has less on. When my shiba puppy plays with other shibas, she usually ends up with a lot of fur in her mouth.

Hi Torres,

This Husky I have was a rescue 6months old pupply. In this video, he is 2 years old. He was a potential Champion Show Dog but the owner abandoned/abused him because his size was too small for AKC competition. This Husky is alot more mature than other Husky and is very kind, gentle and sweet... he allows this small 1year old Shiba to bite him or jump on him. It does not hurt him because of his think fur.

As for if they are ok for apartments, yes they are, however, they usually need alot of exercise and is bad off leash for the first 3 years as they tend to run off. If you love jogging and walking to keep in shape.. they are perfect for you. My husky does not run away when he is off-leash... he is alot more calm and tamer than most Husky. But with every dog, you have to choose the right personality. Did you see my other video of "Screaming Husky"? He loves to play.
