@dasaundo1 Looks like you were expecting a luxury vacation not a pilgrimage. @YIE Well put. It is true Madrid was overburdened but this is a good thing to show the young are hungry in the faith. The attendance surpassed Cologne and Sydney combined. The food voucher idea I thought was brilliant as opposed to the prescribed box of food in prior JMJ's/WYD's. I hope your mindset in the right place dasaundo1 if you do attend Rio JMJ. I thank my blessings for being in JMJ Madrid 2011!

in this video is all talk nice to the poor will be covered up again. there was no water and the medical tents were crowded. I have experienced it and will not ride safely rio de janeiro. the organizers were completely overburdened and it is in rio de janeiro certainly not be better

@dasaundo1 Yes, it is true, there were many difficulties, but there always are in life. World Youth Day is a pilgrimage and it involves voluntary suffering. Pilgrims know they will suffer and yet they go with joy.
