rofl.. i laugh at people whining about their problems.. (im in a wheelchair most of my time and have quite severe pain time to time)
And i always think that if they only knew what i go through everyday and whine bout it to myself but.. watching amputees and people with more severe diseases makes me humble if u know what i mean, instead of asking myself what did i do to deserve, im glad my condition is not as bad as theirs..

But why expend so much energy and determination to don cosmetic arms, virtually useless? Why not hooks that can actually accomplish something? Just curious...
It's not just cosmetic arms. I'm sure it is functional. Normally the hands can be open and close and the left elbow is electic (you can hear the sound of the motor turning when he is moving the forearm).

I just read about a surgeon who had to amputate both of a 19 year old marine's arms in Iraq. Looks like it's hard, but there's hope :).
