@salemcripple I raced serpent 1/8 scale for 4 yrs,its cosidered the F1 of rc.A well prepped rc car will cost you about $3k.So once you get going around that track 40 to 90mph+ around that track your adrenalin will start to pump just as if you where driving a real car 150mph.Does the thought of yourself crashing a real car at 150mph raise your hair?

@barroomchampion dont know where u live . you may have a local hobby shop that sales used r/c cars & trucks. for what you wanna spend you should try that 1st. new ones cost more. if you buy a used 1 from the hobby shop they will have it tuned & ready 4 you. if you buy a used 1 anywhere else make sure you start it & run it b4 buying it. Also thats a good amount to spend on a 1st car because chances are your gonna WRECK it. EVERYBODY WRECKS. my 9 year old wrecked my nitro truck yesterday

that might be cool to have but it gets very expensive and the designs are important and will take a long time because you want to build to be as aero-dynamic as possible so it doesnt build up too much friction.

@98blackbeast They adjust the servo, and also probably have a heavy duty servo as well. Adjusting it so that there is less lock helps with speeds beyond 45-55mph. Having a strong servo will also keep it from having any play. Just a tiny bit of play can flip at those speeds, so you want as much precise control as possible. There are other things as well, such as making sure your tie rods and hub areas are nice and tight. Anything that can sway the car needs to be adjusted and checked.

It's coated in rubber and liquid adhesive. That's at Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, NC. It's had thousands of passes made over the track by drag cars. Nitro cars (exceeding 310mph in 4.9 seconds) make passes here as well.
