  • Excellent stuff! This track is so intense - wow!

  • Yes, intense is the word for "Tripmaker". Look for it on the new 4 CD box set "Where The Action Is - Los Angeles Nuggets 1965-8" released Sept. 22 '09.

  • this is one million times stronger than these shitty retropoppers and pseudo-punks like the killers, mando diao or arctic apes! :-)

  • RIP Sky Saxon, the "Tripmaker".

  • very unique sound especially with sky voice very recognizable .they don't do garage like this no more better than the crap they call garage over the past few years or so

  • I'm Scared.

  • all of their songs are movers

garage punk snarl yet they were bigtime

west coast trippers with some furious sounds

    soaked in psychedelia

  • The Seeds were huge in Southern California at the time. "Tripmaker" got so much airplay it's a shame their record label didn't issue it as a single. Great, intense track, one of their best.

  • I think they have a great sound.

  • Very garage groovy stuff , I like !

  • In the vernacular of the time... groovy man, far out, bitchen!

    :)
