Does any one know why the newer Mosquitos don't have the lubrication hole on the right side of the slide? Did sig change the new Mosquitos internally and are the new Mosquitos better than the old ones with the hole?? Thanks

@italianguns you can use spray paint or duracoat for a do it yourself, just be careful not to get paint into the internals, or you can go to a shop and pay for them to do the exact same thing

I'd say that this is the most fun gun to shoot...small cheap caliber, the feeling of a big caliber P226 in your hand..and just good accuracy....its my perfect gun anyways so screw whoever disagrees XD :P

Just bought a mosquito yesterday. I took it home and cleaned it thoroughly before taking it to the range, being certain to oil the slide well and dropping some oil in the hole next to the ejection port. I shot 140 flawless rounds of CCI ($6.74 per 100). This gun rocks. It feels great in your hand and really performs well. Easy to disassemble as you have shown and easy to clean. It likes gun oil and CCI ammo. Thanks for the video.

Hi. Is this a good pistol, and is it reliable? Also do you think it would be OK to shoot around my house out of sight from neighbors, if my neighbors are less than a mile away? My friends dad (also my neighbor) shoots some guns in his backyard but I'm unsure as to what kind. (I think a SKS and some .22s). I live in Kentucky so guns are pretty common around here. What do you think about it?

depends on the state you live in, i live in minnesota and you dont need a permit to OWN one you just need a permit to BUY one only if your buying from a FFL dealer, stupid law is 18 u can OWN one but u have to be 21 to BUY one, check your state regulations on it

that sucks... in idaho you don't need jack shit. 18 to buy any rifles or shotguns but 21 for handguns... that's it.

Ahhhh thats why I love nevada, they are a gun friendly state. The only thing that sucks is for your first gun you have a 72 hour cooling off period but after that all you need to do is pass a background check and you walk out with your new gun.

We just bought the wife a regular Mosquito but gosh do I like the ACU pattern of yours! I've had a lot of fun with hers though. It pretty much mostly like to eat CCI Mini Mags and sometimes some Federal but it jams with Walmart Winchester.

But really, I should get my own with the same pattern you have and threaded barrel so I can get a nice AAC can!

So the metal clip works fine? I bought a extra clip and it was made of metal like the one that came with the Mosquito. How long have you had your Mosquito? Iv had mine for about three months now. It jammed alot at first but as time goes on it jams less and less. The gun probally just needs broke in. Try using different brands of ammo in the plastic clip. Also, lube the spring in the clip. I cant think of anything else that might help...

Thanks for the great demo video. I couldn't get the slide to push forward after matching it to the frame during disassembly and your video showed me the need to push downward while pushing forward...and it worked. For some reason it was coming to a dead stop, but when I pushed it downward just an iota while pushing forward, it slid into place easily. Thanks again!

This gun is great if you like being stuck on having to buy only 1 manufacture's ammo. I had a MOS .22LR for a few months and got sick of it jamming at least once a mag. If you want a good .22, pick up the P22..it'll shoot even the cheapest of ammo with no issues, because after all what's a .22 good for besides cheap shooting?

the digital camo is a limited edition, you can find them around at some gun shops now, but they are getting harder to find for a reasonable price. my friend and i just bought a pair for $400 a pop

Yeah, it was a special edition that Sig came out with. Only 1000 digital camo versions made. The special edition also comes with a threaded barrel and a fake suppressor (weighted trainer).

I have the same one in the desert digi,I love this pistol.

Sometimes it's a little finicky with ammo but I have noticed if I ran CCI ammo with the softer spring it's pretty reliable,also the accuracy is damn decent with this Sig.
