I remember my copy of Moonstone used to crash whenever I found a certain object. A gray disk or orb without any marks on it.. something like that. Always wondered what it was.

Imo this was one of the best games that Amiga had to offer. Moonstone was way to cool. One of the first gory games aver appeared. I enjoyed it so much.

Anyone know the name of the old SNES games where:

1. You start as a gecko in human clothing, with the ability to use your tongue as a weapon and a tool, and most of the level schemes were purple.

2.Through the intro and the first level, you are driving an old carriage-like vehicle, and step into the mansion, to find through the cutscenes that a cursed frog, or something, was chasing after you. The game was 3D and there was an in-game manual for fighting, using items, etc.

Moonstone? Psaw, more like Gemstone. For this game was a true gem. One of Amiga's best. I played this over and over and over again with my brother, friends and cousins.

apparently there was a glitch in the programming and some versions used to freeze when you finish the game, annoying as hell but man, what an awesome game! Its a shame the Amiga is dead, i've still got my A1200 and it still runs fine after all these years :)

I must be sitting on an absolute fortune then! I've got a silly amount of floppies, both legit, and from the 50p floppy dealers of the 90's. Ive got atleast 50 physical games for both the Amiga, and the Atari ST. Has anyone ever played Agony? From Psygnosis (wicked dev,s like the Bitmap Brothers)

However, I'll never put ANY of them up for sale, just like my old records that are like £50 for one jungle plate. They have too much sentimental valure to me, too many memories!

Thanks dude - to be honest it crashed randomly on the A500 too - I still have one.

it crashed especially when there was alot of action - those tall blue ogres with tree-trunks for clubs would and still do crash my game if they both swing at the same time!

I remember a Amiga 500 RPG (of sorts) where you were investigating something (a murder?) in a house filled with unpleasant French characters. ("Guy", was the name of one.)
