  • man, I had this guitar once, it finished at the garbage dump across the street. must say, its a beauty, but boy what a horrible crappy sound, almost no output. I had this one with the whammy. disconected the whammy and put it on the teisco may queen.

  • how much?

  • can someone tell me what my et220i is worth, its pretty poor condition but all original.

  • A local guitar store got one of these, a '66, for 3700 swedish (500ish dollars or 380 euro). Might pick it up and use for some surf stuff.

  • Beautiful man, i love the sounds of these old Teisco's i love the sound of my 440, plus i have the original amp that came with it when my dad got it

  • @bigduo99 Wow thats cool that you still have the old amp, keep it man..

    thanks for watching.

  • Gorgeous guitar. I have an Del Rey ET-220, but it looks very different from that. And is in far worse shape, sadly. Parts for the ET-220 come up fairly cheap on eBay occasionally, and I always find myself considering refurbishing my old Teisco.

  • @slightlyoutofreach01 actually a year or two ago --et220s were easy to get on e-bay--but people found out how sweet they are and now they are very hard to find--there prob the best action guitar teisco made--but needed modification--to be really superior for a vintage teisco---i have a couple and 1 is modded and 1 is not--you can see my modded one by clicking my name....

  • I found one on ebay that hadn't been played in 30 years. The fretboard was coming off the neck, wiring was loose, jack messed up, missing the spring on the tremolo,,I fixed her up and the more I played it the better it sounded. It plays suberb now.

  • Usually less than $200 on eBay. The et-440 is the same guitar with 4 of the same pickups used on the et-220. Cherry red, deep blue, yellow burst, may be more.

I love my red 440 for its looks and won't part with it, but the pickups are very thin and muddy as you can hear, so it doesn't get much play time. Still has that famous Teisco Twang though, like yours does.

    Enjoy the axe!

  • I dont think the value is high on these but who knows someday, They are really vintage though?

  • I have one of those! Are they valuable? I love mine and wouldn't sell it anyway.

  • Yeah you have a pretty cool guitar, I use 10's on all my electrics (GHS boomers).

    Thanks for stopping by.

  • i have one i loaned to my cousin 4 years ago, he loaned it to a good friend, and luckely i got it back today , w/1 string, haha....

Tomorrow i put new strings on it, someone said put 10`s on it,, i cant play yet but was glad to get it back,

mine is identacal color in pretty good shape i think. I was gonna sell it but it took so long to get it back i may keep it.

I since started collecting i guess, including a 64 reissue LesPaul Custom 335, & others and cant play a lick, but they look cool, lol

  • The action is o.k. I did a fresh set up, As this guitar hadn't been played since Ive own it. its been in the closet, due to the electronic wiring was shorted, since ive been on you tube it motivated me to take off the pickguard and fix it, is till original components only re-solder one wire from the input jack to the volume pot.

  • Hi Ronald.

This is a first for me, I'm not sure these were ever available in the UK.

Love the colour, whats the action like?
