was just reading an article on Dubai in "vanity fair" magazine called Dubai on empty, it was a very critic le article, although i am a great admirer of Dubai but this piece has kept m,e thinking.
It looks like you could get so lost easily driving in that city. With all the roads and overpasses. I would like to visit someday. How much is a hotel, and food, and all that?
I'm visiting in Dubai in about a week from the States for like 3 days. I don't know whether I should rent a car or use Taxi for transportation. Which one do you think is cheaper if I wanna visit few places there? I'm on budget thats why I'm asking. Thanks
@qassim011 Taxis are very expensive in Dubai, whereas rental cars and gas are cheap. The problem is that it is easy to get lost and you may end up spending most of your 3 days just trying to get where you are going. It is worth trying to get a rental car with a GPS even if it is a few bucks more. Good luck!
