this was the game that ENDED fla. gators run...... meyer knows AT THIS GAME, he is in over his head.......he does the right thing, QUITS, and fla. panicks and BEGS him to stay,EVEN IF HE IS ONLY A FIGURE HEAD.........man that worked well......now they have a guy who has NEVER been a head coach....not good......weiss will turn on this guy QUICK and try to get the hc job for himself......oh well, gators going back to the 70s and 80s........i wont lose any sleep over it.... im a gator fan and al i can say is we got our asses kicked, we had momentum at halftime but idk what happened to it after half. bama outplayed us and its just adds more fuel to the fire for years to come in a great series of games. congrats to bama but i hope next year that our team will be back to the way it was.

@BAMAZROLLIN,i have none,bama is the best,and i think they'll win it all again.Congrats,bama deserved to win.Florida moved the ball well,bama bent but didn't break.They exposed florida's short yardage weakness on offense.I still can't believe the florida coaches can't teach basic i formation,or qb sneaks?But this seems like bama's year,they have a great coach,focused players.Unless florida is 11-1,plays bama in a rematch?Im hoping bama wins it all,better to lose to the best.Congrats again

As a Bama fan, I admit I have had some fun and passed around a few jokes, BUT, Coach Meyer and Tim Tebow are classy guys at a classy university. I wish them and the Gators well and look forward more great championship games between these 2 teams.

SEC teams do not in anyway play the most brutal schedules!!! If they played one another every year without any cupcake games in between then "Yes" the SEC teams would play the toughest schedules. However SEC teams do not play every year against one another. Instead they have games like the Gators against Charleston Southern, Troy and Florida International!!

For all intents and purposes, this was the BCS Championship game as well as the SEC Championship game. Both were in the #1 and #2 slots all season long, so there's definitely no Cinderella story to it. The teams in the SEC also play the most brutal schedule of any conference every year. To say Bama will blow out Texas is a gross understatement ~ UT has nowhere near the caliber team Bama does.
