Drivers like this are the reason why I don't like online racing with games like SHIFT or GRID. Man, you don't know how to drive, how to brake, how to find ideal racing line yourself. What you only know is how to crash. I'm sure that if you would try to race in rFactor or Race 07, you wouldn't be able to finish a single lap.

Online play has never been close for me. All you get is those moments when it starts close, you overtake some loser and then they try to ram you. Also, start in first gear, its quicker...

youre braking too late in the corners when youre trying to overtake. the idea of an overtake is to compromise the corner for your opponent, forcing him to take a slower wider outside line. you dont need to be ahead of them in the corner exit, you just need to be earlier on the throttle. you screwed up every overtake you made because you brake late, go wide in the corner, and allow your opponent to get a switchback on you with the proper line, so they can accelerate harder out of the corner.

Nice man :D Last weekend i won the championship on the duels online :D It was my second attempt. My first attempt, i lost on fucking round 1 with a fucking a3 going around a shitty small circle lol. I love this game. Its no where near as realistic as gran turismo, so when i got this i was like, its probably going to be shit, but it actually surprised me and is so much fun. Great game, i wish you could customise more tho, but it is touring so its understandable why the option isnt there :) 5*

@1000hightower I wish I could but the evo has tight handling and the RPMs drop ALOT when I hit turns. Its almost impossible to keep up with the lamborghinis and Vets. They keep high RPMs on the turns.

So I figure if I power through the turns at a rate were traction and speed balance at a high speed than I am fine. Problem is other drivers want to hit your rear and that changes the game plan. Happens in NASCAR all day... one tap and your makin out with the side wall!

Using NOS and stability control too.. That other evo had you the whole race and you were losing tons of time in the corners.

Take the stability control off and learn to take corners and you'll shave 8 seconds off that lap time.
