This is beautiful--one of my favorite pieces! I just learned that this wonderful choir performed my 'Christmas In a Minute', and, I'll be guest artist with the Fairfax Symphony in 2011-12. Hope to meet this choir at their school and will look into it.
I went to W.T. Woodson when the choral program had 38 members. I personally recruited the entire bass section for my senior year in what was then the small select ensemble (Chorale). Kudos to the tremendous work Mr. Ehrlich has done, from a member of the WTW Class of 84!
What a talented group! this is one of my favorite choral pieces ever. not sure why the singers all sway, though- it is very distracting to watch, but their vocal blending is wonderful.
Not loving the LAY of this piece, should be more of a LEH, other than that, make sure to stay on top of the pitch at all times, sopranos, also, don't belt it, uhmm, keep the dynamics within reason, accents are especially needed in this piece, over all, it was a nice performance, i'm glad i had the pleasure of hearing it.

I have listened to several versions of this. This is the one that flowed the best and their dynamics are great.
If this piece is done well, the harmonies flow all around you. If the attacks are too harsh, it takes away from it.
I don't find the swaying at all distracting. It helps to feel the music.

It keeps us from constricting our muscles, and helps us feel the flow of the music.

This is a lovely rendition of this classic accapekla piece. Nuts to adamthegreat15's criticism. Nice work, all.
