  • wow it's easy to say what you would have done sitting in front of your computer.

  • High rate of speed.. No sirens... Suuuure, lets blame the white car.. Dumb ass.

  • Looks like we have a lot of armchair police officers here. It's easy to sit back and say "he should of done this, this and this" or what have you but if weren't in the scenario, it's hard to judge. But is it clear to see the white car is to blame.

  • And this kids, is why you look both ways and listen for them pretty wail sirens and pulsing lights at intersections. And to those who said the car already stopped, it was moving when he made the turn, and if he jerked back into his lane, at that speed, it would have been dangerous, I feel he made the right decision, in the sense that, he had time to prepare for the impact, though, it is the driver of the white car's fault anyways for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, just my opinion.

  • Police Sargent later told him, "its not... to protect and swerve, its... to PROTECT AND SERVE!!!

  • you guys act like he knew it was coming it had no idea whether or not the car was gonna stop or not and highly doubt that everybody here could have avoided it so shut the fuck up and get real!

  • bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • 41-41? isnt that the code for "im a total idiot who has no business being a cop so im on my way in to turn my badge in"...my great grandma whos blind in one eye could of avoided that wreck

  • İDİOT DRİVER...

  • He should of went left not right...

  • this officer most likely did have driving training for this kind of situation. but think if u were in his spot , a cars pulling out dosent look like its bout to stop so u swerve to go around then the car stops while the cops turning, the cop already locked his breaks going at a high speed..once that driver stopped the cop was fucked.

  • Everyone in this video fucked up, so stop trying to tell me otherwise.

The Criminal fucked up for attempting to evade.

The Cop fucked up for trying to turn before braking.

The Charger fucked up for pulling out halfway, just to wait for the crash.

Now like this so I can have both top rated comments.

  • there are so many things to say here.

  • The person in the white car should have just moved for the cop and then atleast would have their car still just getting a ticket

  • why ram that car?? not in his way??

  • Actions speak louder than words...

  • After carefully watching this video time and time again, I know that the driver in the white car had enough time to get out of the way, But they just sat there thinking okay i'll get paid for this. Typical nigger for you. Niggers always looking for a way to get money for something. There are blacks and there are niggers i hate niggers but blacks are cool. Blacks meaning that they think better than a nigger. Therefore they are not niggers. Amen!

  • For people complaining about the officer either swerving into the civilian car, or locking up his stearing from breaking too hard, it's common procedure to aim to drive around the REAR of another car if it pulls out because there's no way the car will suddenly be able to reverse back. You just have to hope the car continues forwards.

Now this driver stopped their car quickly and efficiently, but there still wasn't enough time for the officer to realize this and drive past the front instead.

  • @WTF36027 you are so stupid, the human body tolerates some frontal crashes but does not tolerate side crashes well, in this cases the guy who dies is the guy which the vehicle was crashed on the side

    .

The car at no point was in front of the police car if was not for the officer change of direction, American cars handle like crap anyway

  • hope his coffee and donuts are ok.

  • So they get trained to fire a gun, but not in defensive driving?

He should've stayed in his lane, braked hard, released the brake, then swerved.

  • @ScrizzDubb Or have abs equipped lol - this isnt 1969 lol

  • @Servicemember80 The car in the video has ABS. Also, even though Anti-lock Braking has been in use on vehicles since the early 70's, I drive a 1992 Honda Civic and it doesn't have any fancy-schmancy ABS...

  • @ScrizzDubb True, but when a car actually pulls out infront of you, all that process stuff goes out the window.

Instinct is to avoid the crash, you dont expect the white car to stop, and when your going that fast (personally) i would think to go where the car has been, not where its going.

  • @Armed2Truck when I'm going fast, I don't even think about turning. I think about braking so that I can better control my turn when I need to.

  • poor driving on the cops end, the white car never made it to his lane and the cop veered all the way to the right. FAIL COP.

  • The cop doesn't appear to be at fault. The white car pulled out in front of him and didn't stop for the officer. You can clearly see at 0:27-0:30 the car wasn't looking, he pulled out in front of the officer, and when the white car did finally notice the cop car he stopped right in the middle of the street and the officer was already take evasive action to try and avoid the car. Plus if the cop had to go that fast to catch someone the speeder probably wasn't going 10 over.

  • @warfreak88 I disagree. Like you said, you could see the white car pulling out, but the cop didn't seem to see that. He had ages to break but didn't until the last minute.

  • its funny that every comment saying the cop is at fault includes their opinion of how dirty police are. there was a fraction of a second from the time the car pulled out and from when the cop hit the breaks. pulls out @00:10 & breaks are applied right before 00:11. there was nothing the cop could do. if this was the camera of a regular person and not a cop i don't think nearly as many people would be saying it wasn't the white cars fault. you people are fucking idiots.

  • @johnsmithy667 What do you mean by "how dirty"? All I'm saying is that they must have left it too late. 1. The car is already out on the before the cop begins to brake. 2. The cop, leaving it late, braked too hard causing his steering to lock.

  • @BrandonWatson19 my comment wasn't entirely directed toward you, all im saying is that the driver of the car with the dash cam is not at fault. if that was you would you have been able to stop in time or avoid the car? its easy to sit back and say 'oh yeah i could have' but i doubt it. i know i probably couldn't have. can we knit pick and say he should have been going 5 mph slower, blah blah. sure. but looking at a video and saying 'x should have been done' isn't real life.

  • @johnsmithy667 Alright.

  • @warfreak88 if you hit a stationary (not moving) vehicle that was nt even in your lane of traffic you would be charged with careless driving. So why should the car that stopped before even enetering the lane be at fault?

  • way to go dumbass, speed to catch sumone that was prolly goin like 10 over and risk another persons life, fukin idiot.

  • I hope the cop was seriously injured.

  • @elbeghast I hope you grow up.

  • @DwnNvr I hope you wake up. Cops are our enemies. They want nothing more than to extort money and take away our freedom. They are the largest criminal organization in America.

  • @elbeghast i agree 110%

  • @elbeghast So don't bother calling 911 when you need help.

  • Honestly the driver in the white car didn't come to a complete stop. Watch from ( 0.07 to 0.10 ). Second they also stopped in the middle of a 2 lane road with oncoming traffic. I say the officer didn't have to many other choices. If he or she kept straight hoping they would come to a complete stop and they didn't it would have been worse. Second to note the officer tried by turning to avoid hitting any object.

  • @Knowledge201190 theres a central reservation, both of the lanes on the coppers side are traveling in the same direction.

  • I bet you $500 it was a chick driving that white car. Sexist, but absolutely true. Ladies CANNOT make quick decisions. Why wouldnt she move up some?! Same thing happened to my iphone. I was riding my motorcycle, when my iphone slipped out of my pocket. I see this car approaching (5 mph, she 2 cars behind me approaching a stop sgn), so I stick my palm out and walk towards the car. What does the lady do? Look at me all confused, slows down, but keeps rolling her car forwards. Wow, really?? LOL

  • Other car was at fault. He shouldn't had of accelerated and stoped he should of just stayed at the light..

  • He was accelerating when he should have been braking because he was watching the suspect's car and not the road. Driver error, I am sure he has argued otherwise on many occasions.

  • All ican say , he doesnt know how to drive , he had more space to avoid that accident , but he choose just hitting breaks and going staight . i hope he is allright .

  • If the cop stayed in the lane he was in this would have never happened.

  • lmao y the fuk did the cop panic and turn INTO to civilian car? lmao arnt they ment to be trained to handle situations like that or they shouldnt be pursueing ne1 what a noob driver

  • @gsxr1300fan123 Go back to school.

  • @VanEmergencyNews lmao. i ride motorbikes.... ive trained my self to ride them and i cant handle situations like that. a car pulled out on me and i waited for the car to stop and then i just went in front of it. some1 did a U turn in front of me and i avoided it. a car pulled out and kept going so i went behind it. its not hard, all it takes is a little thought and improvision. maybe YOU need to go back to school! for hazard awareness and maybe reaction time.

  • @gsxr1300fan123 You have failed to see my point. You do not know how I drive. I never once said anything about your driving. Once you have corrected your grammar and have educated yourself enough to understand basic knowledge you may return and defend yourself. Learn to read before you go ahead and post things like that.

    Thank you,

  • @gsxr1300fan123

He saw that there was oncoming traffic, and maybe he thought the dumbass would keep going. Or maybe move forwards, UPON SEEING A POLICE CAR SLIDING IN HER DIRECTION!!! God, people honestly cant drive

  • @punkslayer well that driver maybe could of moved forward but what im saying is that they are trained in none panic situations. so when there is a REAL situation like this one, they panic, and he locked up the brakes. i bet hes never done that practicing because it is in a none dangerous controlled enviroment where he is TOLD what to do. but he paniced + hes an american cop they cant drive for shit.

  • AWESOME !

  • Looks like he was chasing a petty traffic violator, these cops are more of a hazard than the speeders they harass.

  • @rsattahip And your a dumbass

  • @EclipseGstR I agree with you man. However, it's spelled "You're" :D

  • It's protect and serve not semper fi. Police are out of control.

  • what a dumb fuck. it was obvious that the white car had stopped before the officer even began to try to avoid it. he could have easily just kept going straight.

  • @jdrury are you blind? the car stopped about 0.5 seconds after the cop reacted, and once the cop had reacted, there was no going back and therefore no way to avoid it

  • All the lights and sounds you attach to any emergency auto do not give the driver of that auto to drive as if he was the only driver on the road. Plain in simple, emergency drivers have to be charged as needed in the event of an accident. Period. Some of these idiots do not belong behind the wheel of one of these autos.

  • someone needs to go back to defencive driving school

  • that cop is a fucking moron

  • This is Texas Law. Look up the whole law before stupid comments 545.156. VEHICLE APPROACHED BY AUTHORIZED EMERGENCY VEHICLE. (a) On the immediate approach of an authorized emergency vehicle using audible and visual signals that meet the requirements of Sections 547.305 and 547.702, Bottom Line (b) This section does not exempt the operator of an authorized emergency vehicle from the duty to drive with due regard for the safety of all persons using the highway.

  • Cop should have been in control of his car at all times. If he lost control of his car & caused others to be hurt, then just proves he was not fit for the job. Bottom line, he needs to be in control of his car. This officer shows clearly he failed. Then you trust these idiots with a gun. Keep them fools in Texas.

  • @rockabye63 ok, now here is what happened he is going molt likely code 3 (lights and siren) to catch up to the suspect. While coming around the bend at a high rate of speed a car pulls out in front of him. from what he saw was a car that was moving in front of him. he slams his brakes and does what he can. Maybe you should have stayed in Texas. I hope this happens to you because obviously it will be a better outcome for you! let me know how it works out for you.

  • @my86samurai You just proved my point all the more. High rate of speed on a road with side streets & blind spots. You might want to check the police safety manual on this & read the part that states "The Officer is expected to be in control of his surroundings at all times" Even if he comes to an intersection with a red light, he can only proceed if the way is clear. This is with light & siren on. What if he was in a school zone, can he run over kids because he has lights on?

  • @rockabye63 If he is code 3 he has done nothing wrong. That car should have been paying attention to the flashing lights Yes caution is always advised at that rate of speed but civilians have a duty to be mindful as well.

  • @my86samurai I'd be interested in the outcome. We can give our views, but I'm sure who ever done the investigation took all views into account. It's a a good thing many outcomes of mishaps are not judged entirely from us youtube viewers. Would have helped if we'd seen the uncut tape, speed & view outside of the camera.

  • @rockabye63 I can agree with that

  • @rockabye63 How can he be out of control? he was fully in control. That other car just came out, he was too fast. He probably had an emergency or something which he had to drive fast for. So get your facts right.

  • @tcomedy66613 If he was in full control then why is his car in the ditch? If you have taken any training what so ever, the first thing they tell you, no matter if it is a police car, firetruck or any emergency transportation of your choice. You are still responsible for the safety of others around you. If he had been driving fast through a school zone & a kid runs in front of him, he can be charged. Seems you might be the one who needs to get your fact in order.

  • Remember... Real live is not anything like GTA.... when you crash you never get a Play Over

  • @syntaur You're right, real life is nothing like a video game. Which leads to the question... Why do you bring it up, when others aren't? YOU are the one thinking of video games, and yet you claim that it's not you but others who thinking of video games when they see this.

  • I also wonder what the dang emergency was that the Police car... which I suspect was radio equipped... was in such a hurry for... Perhaps they had just pulled a fresh batch of donuts out of the oven at a nearby Dunkin' Donuts... Thank God there weren't children standing on the curb waiting to cross... And no matter what... it is why they call them accidents...

  • nigger driving a cts pull out in front of cops and we all know carfax isnt going to find out

  • what a car stops in front of you and you steer right at it...?

  • @syntaur well obviously any NORMAL person would keep going. the cop thought that he would keep going and to avoid hitting him he steered right. are you retarded?

  • @knivesandgear1 Chowderhead... If you are crossing in traffic... expecting crossing traffic to be traveling at the posted speed limit cross traffic... when suddenly a vehicle comes at you driving at high speed... the best thing is to stop since you don't know what the oncoming vehicle is going to do next... Although he pulled out in front of the police car coming at him at a speed over the speed limit... the other car did have their car under control... Which obviously Police car did not...

  • @syntaur I hope you never drive

  • @adge0042 I pray you survive your first five years of driving... and video games don't count:)

  • @syntaur I've already survived them. I also drive for a living. Most people would assume that a car travelling forward would keep moving forward. A vehicle that enters traffic against its right of way is not a vehicle that is under control, whether it be failure to yeild or just not paying attention. If you're driving down the road and someone runs a stop sign your first instict should not be to swerve in front of them because they may not stop like they did here

  • @syntaur The officer isn't in the wrong here, and you'll get yourself killed or seriously injured with your backwards logic of placing your own life, into the hands of others. Instead of hitting the gas yourself and getting yourself out of a dangerous situation, you feel that the best option is to come to a complete stop in front of another vehicle, and allow THEM to choose if you live or die?

  • bad driving.. no question. and the white cars driver is a idiot for stopping in the roadway too.. you never stop in the middle of the road.. morons...

  • Swerved right at the white car!

  • haha u suck

  • lol the cop drove into him

  • Well all of those people that said bad driving blah blah blah shut up because when you are going fast adrenaline starts to pump in you and then you dont react the same.

  • FUCK THE POLICE,,,

  • PareoNullus533,They know where they are. Also in the late 18 hundreds a horse mounted cop would ride for a month and come back with a criminal. Now if it don't happen in frt of a donut shop they couldn't catch a criminal. It's like the song says,What you gonna do when they run from you, fat cop,fat cop.And its like that cop in washington state shoot that native guy, aren't they trained in self defence.SO SPEEDING TICKETS SHOULD BE LAST ON THERE CRIMINAL LIST NOT FIRST.

  • must have been a women there was plenty of room for him to fit in front of that car horrible driving if you ask me

  • @jioicikiyi shut up you sexist annoying cocky fuck. I doubt you drive, and when you have a split second it's too late to react properly. quit being a "holier than thou" faggot

  • the cop should have had his sirens on, the lights aren't enough when your speeding down a road.

  • Maybe they should not be in such a hurry to hand out traffic tickets. And hurry a little more at catching child molesters, women beaters, murders and drug dealer.Below and above the 49th.

  • @82cabalero If you could tell them where they are im sure they'd appreciate it!

  • die pig!

  • white car completely at fault, the cop was anticipating it to keep going through the intersection, even though it should never have started to, and once the cop started to move in the direction of the anticipated opening couldn't stop his car from going there.

  • @justsomefellow2 It is logical sense to drive in the direction that the obstacle in front of you is travelling away from. The officer most likely had this in mind. If the car had kept going forward, the officer would have missed him.

  • Did the white cat fail to yield to oncoming traffic? Hope everyone was okay

  • It’s the cops fault, although the white car pulled out it was stopped. The cop hit the stopped vehicle. I wonder how many thousands of dollars that cost the tax payers.

  • @justsomefellow2 shut up ignorant..!!

  • @felipejur Only thing ignorant is your reply. An eight year old could have typed a better reply.

  • @felipejur I said shut up you fucking ignorant ...!!!!!

  • @justsomefellow2 Both at fault. who stops in the middle of traffic? she/he should of looked both ways First. and the cop shouldn't have turned right, maybe he thought the car was gonna make the turn?...

  • @justsomefellow2 No the white car is 100% at fault in the eyes of the law and in my eyes too.

He stopped in the middle of the road. The cop was just steering away to get behind the moving car, but it stopped not giving the cop the opportunity to get behind.

  • @SomeOneFromOFS ... Yes, you're right. The white car shouldn't have stopped and should have continued going forward into the path of the police cruiser, so they could have got t-boned. If a car and a tree made contact with your logic you would say the tree was at fault.

  • @justsomefellow2 Oh dear god

  • @justsomefellow2 clearly, you struggle to read english.

  • @SomeOneFromOFS ... I could say the same thing back to you. What part of stopped don’t you understand? You have to agree that at some point in time the white car notices the cop and stops. The lane the cop was in is still free & open. From the video you can say the cop hit the white car, but you can’t say the white car hit the cop.

  • @justsomefellow2 But you can't say the white car successfully stopped safely at an intersection.

If the white car had stopped (like it was supposed to) and check for incoming traffic, non of the mess would have happened. There is absolutely no real argument in the white car's favor.

  • @SomeOneFromOFS Sure you can. The white car stopped successfully as not to cross in front of the police officer traveling at a dangerous rate of speed.

  • @justsomefellow2 He said safely not successfully

  • @SomeOneFromOFS shut up Dick...!!

  • @SomeOneFromOFS what a stupid cop.

  • The best part of it is the white car never pulls into the police officers lane.

    two for flinching

  • Until, I think you are right. Maybe the cop didn't have to have his sirens on but he probably should have as a precautionary matter. Viewing it again, the white car seems to almost come to a stop then slowly pulls out. The driver of the white car is suppose to check the traffic, then pull out. I guess the driver just froze when he/she saw the flashing lights. The driver still had one or two seconds to hit the gas and move, but just sat there like a log.

  • No doubt the cop had any action taken against him, probably not even a write up, however If I plowed into someone while speeding, I would probably be in jail... Pig scum

  • Objects in your dash-cam are closer than they appear

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

  • i hate police

  • 1.hes a chinese officer.

2.the left side of the camara says woo is that his name

3.wtf did he say willy woo

  • why didnt he go left

  • @Zach84932 a very weird question, follow the path of logic and you will answer yourself

  • @Zach84932 Because he thought the car was going to keep going and couldn't adjust because of his speed.

  • To everyone who says the white car did nothing wrong, if you notice, he had a stop sign. So regardless of whether or not the cop was running lights and sirens or not, the white car was still supposed to yield to traffic. Good job to the cop for avoiding a direct hit to the driver.

  • thought it was texas, what the hell is an arabian doing driving a police car in texas?

  • The white car pulled out into the right lane, it looks like the cop assumed the white car would keep going into the left so he headed into the right lane. Unfortunately that's right where the white car stopped. I didn't hear any sirens so it seems the cop erred in not turning them on. Without sirens on, I don't think the driver of the white car did anything wrong. It was just a bad mistake by probably a rookie cop.

  • @xebob he probably only had his lights on (can have them on w/o siren)

  • @loganmc1978 he must have the sirens on when approaching an intersection tho...

  • @Boosted1981 no they don't... at least not in WA

  • @loganmc1978 bad laws then...just asks for accidents.

  • @xebob Anything wrong? He drove right infront of the cop and then stopped, the cop couldn't turn harder as he did. The guy cna't just drive infront of anybody.. There's smth aclled intersections, douche.

  • @xebob Two bad drivers.

  • dumb bitch

  • probably a lady in the white car

  • this is why you dont hit the brakes when weaving. he hit the brakes when turning caused him to lose control. never hit the brakes, just lift off the gas.

  • it had a b a stupid female

  • haha he woulda been fine if he went straight... whatever though

  • its too hard to judge how fast a car is going when he was that far away, i know a girl who got killed from pulling out in front of a car going 80, ive pulled out in front of cars that look like theyre going the speed limit but actually fly by almost hitting me...the white car did nothing wrong, once the cop got close enough the car realized he was hauling balls and came to a stop

  • the jackass in the white car started to pull out and the cop was trying to go around and avoid hitting the white car but he white car stopped and the cop had no where to go.

  • good maneuver to avoid the drivers door but he really shouldn't be enticing a high speed chase

  • Go left next time.....

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry that's not a Charger, Its a Chevy of some sort

  • The guy in the charger probably set the cop up. The was probably going after someone. He was going fast and at the begining heturnd around. I don't know it's just a theory

  • stupid fucking white car

  • The white vehicle pulled out in front of the officer, and unless the officer was using excessive speed it seemed he should have been able to avoid that crash. However, the vehicle stopped in the lane of traffic would put that vehicle at fault in my state according to my state's laws. I can't imagine any other state would not put the other vehicle at fault.

  • The officer reacted to quick, he assumed the the white car was gonna pull all the way out

  • the cop was smart to go right before breaking hard... even with abs that hard breaking would take steering out and odds are he wouldn't have hit the car or at least not in a major area

  • hmm dunno how to call this one... White car did pull out... but also did stop before entering the police cars path.. if there wasn't such a gross overreaction on the part of the officer the whole thing would have been avoided. Looks like he locked up his tires... no ABS?

  • ...is the cop aiming for the car??

  • @spiker84 sure looked like it, huh?

  • @spiker84 Seems like it to me.

  • Shoulda stayed in his god damned lane

  • @xeryph Go back to school and finish it this time smartass.

  • @GTASA911 Derp?

  • Should have stayed in his god damned lane.

  • 41, 31... I just got fucked up but caught a drug dealer so were all good.

  • 0:10 "MA GOD A CAR! lets drive in it >:£"

  • lol thats so dumb..cops are trained to drive...wtf the cutting back on shit now? well fuck i know memphis tn cops cant shoot with a shit.. i go to the range with them and crack jokes sayin this is why i have to carry bc they cant hit a big paper target

  • What does this have to do with black and white people again? STFU troll people.

  • Hope that white Mitsubishi Galant has side air bags! If so, the Galant is a very safe car!

  • I have NO IDEA what does that cop do. oO

  • all i need is a fist fight

  • Whether it was the cops fault or not the white car would not have gotten hit if he had kept going. The cop had changed lanes to accommodate the white car moving. The white car then stopped which caused the officer to lock his brakes. Once he did that, he could not turn and he was just along for the ride.

  • Cops fault. As soon as the civilian saw the cop coming he stopped instead of making his left hand turn, then the cop changed lanes in the intersection and plowed right into the car. He obviously wasnt paying attention or went into panic mode. Moreover, the cop was hauling ass, why wasnt his light on?

  • what a dumbass, why would you stop in the middle of the road

  • Thats what he gets for making an illegal U turn
