@LouisOwles1 It would depend on the games but it does use the graphics native hardware when you enable 3D Acceleration. The Macbook Pro I used only has an Intel 3000 integrated graphics and it's decent but not great. If your Macbook Pro is one of the 15inch with the ATI discrete graphics then you are in good shape. If it is a desktop with a decent graphics card then it will do fine.
@ninjaslasher432 Do you see the little disc icon on the bottome left of the window blinking or hear the disc being accessed? if that works then there is a problem with the disc. If it is not then the disc drive is not mounted to the virtual machine. you would have to right click that icon and select the hosted drive as your virtual drive.
@austinmmboy I don't think it is possible in the sense that the virus that works on Windows will not work on Mac because the two operating systems are written in a different language. The only thing I could think of is if the virus were to attack the partitions but you would have to have special software that could read mac partition in windows like Mac Drive 8. Then the virus would have to attack it that way but that is pretty rare. Thanks for watching!
Hey Johnny or anyone else, so I'm trying this out but I'm kinda noob at this :D so, at 15:49 why do you click "new" "apply" and "ok"? What does that do? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just want to understand what's going on
@MrSomeBacon That is a great question. I should have taken the time to explain that. That is where you are installing the OS onto the partition that you created earlier during the settings. What you are telling Windows is that there is a hard drive there and you want to partition and format it to install Windows on.When the drive says unallocated it means that there is no partition and you have to create one. New means new partion and then specify the size of it. Hope that helps and thanks!
@johnnythegeek1 thanks!! sorry i have another question :) would it be possible to change some of the settings such as allocated RAM after you install windows already?
@supersmashbrosv2 I have tried that and I can not do it. I haven't found a solution to it yet either. I don't even think the tonmacx86 guys can do it either. I haven't seen any info from them about it. :/
@supersmashbrosv2@johnnythegeek1 Is there a benefit to running Bootcamp [in a Hack] as opposed to simply running two HDDs/SSDs with different OSs on each?
Another great tutorial video, thank you. I think virtual box is a great free solution for doing simple tasks in windows and have used it previously. If you need to split your workflow between os x and windows you would need more umph and so would need parallels / vm ware or bootcamp.
@skilby73 Thanks for watching! Yeah I agree and I personally like vmare because of this unity feature they have. It is able to detect a bootcamp partition and run it inside OSX but also to make it more transparent meaning windows will run inside of mac osx to appear natively as if it was an actual osx program. I will make another video on it!
@pgarza2 I wanted to show a free version of a virtualizing software. This Virtual Box has the basics and for those just getting into VM's I think it is a good start before getting into the advance power user like running virtualized servers or Linux platforms.
@LTdoms I will be making avideo on how to do that too but in short I personally don't need all that power of Windows 7 to use all of the native hardware in the macbook. Some people might only need small programs to run and for a short period so switching back and forth is quicker that shutting down Mac OSX and booting Windows. I personally only use it to screen record stuff I do in Windows like rooting mobile phones.
hey mate, really helpful! quick questions, how well would it run mmo games on the OS?

@MrSomeBacon Yes you can change it after the install. You just can't do it while the VM is running so shut down the VM first then make your changes.
