@LehGil To add to it...it's normal at that age to beat the heck out of the bottle, because that's what they would do with the siblings...to protect their food source and to establish who's the strongest of the litter. If you want to do the kitten a favor, let it fight for the bottle a lil...put gloves on and make it a play. It stimulates that need.

The problem with raising this many feral kittens at one time is that they are still in a pack mentality. They need one on one attention and I can tell that they are actually too far along in being feral to revert to being good house cats. Notice how they are swiping and trying to bite, these wildcats will never be anything other than that - wild. Next time you if you have your hands full you should put down all but one and raise that one. One domestic cat is better than 10 wild ones !

Bobtails and Manx kittens were naturally born with a short tail. Nobody cut them off. The only animals who don't have short tails are dogs. Cats are born with long and short tails as they are.

If you must know, the chinese and japense or either of them believe that the manx are lucky cats. If you every have a manx, I think you would be lucky.
