80% of Chinese and Indian electricity comes from coal and they're not planning to reduce that figure anytime soon. There's a lot of coal left in the ground and it takes a lot of coal fired electricity to make a bicycle, wind turbine or to ship those solar panels to your trailer park

You'd be better off supporting cleaner coal research because that's what they'll be burning in China and India for the next 100 years whether you wave a sign or not
