  • Sweet tender beautiful music........love this song too! Chicago is a very favorite band of mine and always will be!

  • Beautiful! Aloha!

  • THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song, I dedicate this to my best friend, MY HUSBAND of 1 yr.

  • gracias por todas las cosas bonitas que vivimos Carlos Soto, donde quiera que estès tu amor me hizo crecer. Vuelvo a ver tu cara en la de nuestra hija. Estaràs en mi siempre. Goza de la luz y de la paz ....

  • This was the first song my husband danced to 35 years ago. Means more today than back then.

  • One of my all time favorite. Chicgo "Rocks"

  • Such a beautiful arrangement, and surprisingly tender feeling from a guy! Always loved this song.

  • I was listenimg to this next to my grandma as she passed away i cry and cry!!! Every time i here this

  • I went and saw chicago back in the summer of 1977 at Pine Knob & in 1979 saw Terry Kath in 77 sure missed him in 79 till now. Sad event in jan 78 he will be missed. Nice thing on youtube is he will live in our hearts forever.

  • I love this song, and someone(not me) has uploaded it 3 years ago on my birthday ,10th of December

  • Love these guys to death, but the flute is out of tune! Dammit Walt! (LOL)

  • Guy sounds a lot like Terry Kath, just sayin

  • hello! margarita m.. remember this song, if you are still around. do give me a ring 3750568 or 2385068

  • I love this Robert's singing but its hard to beat the Terry Kath version. RIP

  • one of the shortest and best songs of all time.

  • My parants had this song for their wedding... And I play piano so I kind-of want to play it.

IF ANYBODY KNOWS A TUTORIAL PLEASE SEND ME IT!!!!!!

  • @TheGlitchBox1 did you type "tutorial for colour my world" in the YouTube search?

  • @TheGlitchBox1 Type in quotation marks "colour my world on piano" and you'll get a great version, where you can actually see what he's playing. You should be able to pick it up from that.

  • nice song

  • Why SO slow. To slow. Pretty song!

  • second song i learned on the piano after chop sticks. sweet memories!

  • This song reminds me of my simpler times, down in North Charleston SC.

  • Heard this at band camp loved it naturally brass played it

  • This is such the song of the 70s the best!

  • our mariachi band played this song... check it out :)

DPHS Mariachi Jaguares... hope u like it :D

  • *****

  • i danced with my girlfriend at homecoming ,live bands back then.i married her 36 years ago. great song.

  • When the first few notes of that played in our gym, there was an auduble sigh from the girls and a smile on the faces of the guys. Every chick in the state of Missouri was coo-coo for this song. Even the ugly guys got squeezed on that dance.

  • @Sargethemedic1 Even the ugly guys LOL.

  • @Sargethemedic1 It is truly a love song! Almost as melodic and mesmerizing as Zepplin's Rain Song. There are truly some beautiful songs out there!!!

  • Ooh! I LOVE this song!

  • stupido il paly back per i musicisti..

  • suono fantasticoo...

  • colour my world with hope of loving you..

  • this song is lovingly didicated to my sweetheart ernest..i love you sweetheart..

  • Robert Lamm is this song. He has grown pipes. Better than Terry

  • @fdgiii I'm a huge Robert Lamm fan (since 1968) but NO ONE, - even Robert Lamm - isn't better than Terry, singing this song!

  • this is the greatest ballads -

  • flute solo. yes!

  • Robert Lamm did a great score on the piano and at least does a decent job trying to cover Terry's voice but I totally agree with specialone8 NO ONE will ever match Terrys barritone voice imo....

  • damn thats a good looking man

  • Great version of an American classic, but no one, I repeat NO ONE will ever take the place or sound of Terry Kath. His voice to this day is haunting when listening to HIS "original" version of this incredible ballad.

  • @cj2112us Shut the fuck up.

  • wow!!! simply amazing. kids don't know what they are missing

  • Woderful! I LOVE Chicago. My favorite band. Please make new music and keep rocking

  • Walter and Jimmy yes it is true this slice of "Bellet" of arpegios has made you famous and has given me a song at every wedding i play, thank you Terry your vocals are in my memories Robert has kept this song in his voice magnificent

  • los amooooo me facinan que musica mas bella

    dios los bendiga

  • I think this makes a TERRIFIC first dance song for a new bride and groom. Why didn't I think of this???

  • @lowflyingcessna yeah, I just thought the exact same thing. ho hum, too late now

  • Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power N Chicago, some good music back in the day.

  • brings my memory back in my high school days...the best years of majority of us...

  • long time ago...terry kath doin' the solo & robert lamm on piano...now, robert doing the vocals & bill champlin manning the piano...still the magic & beauty of the (James Pankow composition) song remain the same...CHICAGO lives in our hearts forever !!!

  • as time goes on i realize what u mean to me,and now that u r here, promise my love with hope in loving u

  • If only..............

  • Drdalehenry and I married 37 years this month...this is our song! Love him so much and we are strong in our FAITH since early teenage years saved by the precious blood of Jesus Christ see the TRUTH in the HOLY BIBLE!

  • @hearditatthegrapevin thats good you are happy and 37 years strong, but i do have to agree with George Carlin's 11th commandment "thy shall keep thy religin to thyself"

  • hfs, this song is responsible for most of my high school action - forgot about it. post new orleans lady and you will have covered all action up to 22 years. awesome!

  • This was my favorite song of all time and still is. I learned to play the piano by ear on this song. Went to many Chicago concerts in the 70s and then to a Chicago concert in 1984 on the BYU campus and wondered why they didn't sing this song; and then found out that since Terry's death they supposedly never sang the song again in his honor; not sure if that is true or if they have sung it since on stage; I would hope they would; in his honor. What a great thing to remember.

  • No one can sing this song like Terry Kath. I have Heard both Robert Lamm and Bill Champlain sing it in concert and Robert's comes the closest to Terry's Version.

  • I don't call it Colour My World as much as I call it Terry's Song. To me, this song is to Terry Kath what Yesterday was to Paul McCartney.

  • This is REAL music. If you could take away the lady gagas and justin beibers of the industry and replace them with band like this, the world would be a better place.

  • First song I ever slow danced to.

  • Who's singing the solo in this rendition?

  • Wonderfull song

  • my fave of theirs, though theyve had so many awesome songs.. thnx for posting

  • @pattynewark09 Good luck and God bless you and yours.

  • This was the wedding song for alot of my cousins in the 70's. It is beautiful...

  • WOW!! Robert Lamm really nailed this one!!! GREAT performance!!

  • MIAUUUUUUUUU, COLOUR MY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD, THIS IS SO NICE

    OH MY REMEMBERS.

  • This is one of those songs that makes you wish they had written a few more verses to it. Too beautiful, but too short.

  • @jjp009 sometimes its better to write it in few verses because it speaks so much what is there in one's heart..savoring well short written words. I guess u r rt to ask for more though

  • @jelps23 Well said.

  • Chicago - Colour my world

  • I agree...it will forever be the greatest shortest love ballad of all time.

  • Colorea mi Mundo...

  • The greatest "Quincenera" march song ever made!

  • We cut our teeth on this one....1976- taft school band, watertown ct.

  • I had this song in my wedding way back in '74. the marriage didn't last but I still like the song.

  • I wanted this for my wedding song but hubby didn't know t. So I gave in and had something else. (should have stuck to my guns!!!)

  • @kimmilil What was played?

  • @CrazyCor15 edwin Mc cain I'll be . Not exactly what I wanted but then again the whole thing wasn't what I wanted. I wanted to get married on a beach in Hawaii and instead of going west I ended up going east to Newfoundland where he's from because all of his family is there and they wouldn't come :( Everything that could go wrong went wrong and I mean EVERYTHING!!! If yu'd like the soridid deals message me and I'll give you a good laugh with all of the problems! NO one will forget our wedding

  • @kimmilil My parents actually had this song at their wedding. and yes, it's a great song, very soothing and sweet.

  • @kimmilil It was our wedding song, Kim - 35 years ago today. It has served us well and has come on the radio seldom but has come on at some extremely appropriate times :-) Rick and Linda

  • @quoolquat CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I knew it rarely comes on the radio but when it does the goosebumps arise :) Love to you guys and best wishes xxx

  • @kimmilil I'm on your side. But theres a plus side not having this song at your wedding... It's too short. If it were longer this song would have been perfect. PS.. how did you wedding go?

  • @kimmilil Always stick to your guns. If the person doesn't like it-maybe it's not meant to be.

  • Great song, deeply emotional and dignified beauty.

  • to "bhobo09"; your "old days" comment is pretty much tasteless and tacky; you're taking away the beauty of this song.......not cool dude.....

  • blow it out ur ass!!

  • i have fonder memories of this song than you would ever know!..and i dont have to explain them to stuffy anal bitch like yourself!

  • junior high first slow dance boy getting too excited lol

  • I've always loved this song but to me it has always sounded like someone taking a piano lesson.

  • Another one of Chicago's finest. I love the shots of the folks cuddling as they play the into.

Takes me back to high school and slow dancing.

    Nice song, nice memories.

    :)

  • Robert does a great job on this.....beautiful.

  • grate vid

  • This will be forever one of the greatest shortest ballads.

  • ya its nice

  • @tobielovescats It's way too short.

  • @Soulblackman yes it is..I loved the 70's

  • RL singing in the spirit of TK. Good job.

  • Awesome Lamm rendition! Beautiful!
