You do know CT can still get tornados and what does a mill fire have to do with tornados? Just because a mill is on fire doesn't mean it will stop a tornado. If a tornado wants to come, its going to come. You can't stop it lol.
I know how you feel. For some odd reason I'm fasinated by storms, especially tornadoes. I watch movies like Twister, Night of the Twisters and Tornado! over and over again. I ride Twister 10 times when I go to universal and I'm always looking up info on them. I don't know why. Its not a safe hobby to get into. But its just fasinating(spelling?)
I live in Ohio myself and have chased several storms in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. I thought I had it bad. I have seen one tornado and one cold spout but still not satisified. I eventually will go to the plains myself to do a documentary of weather and architecture coming together. If you or someone else is interested please let me know. I have a video that describes my focus on the subject, check it OUT!
i know what your saying! I LIVE IN CT! and we have had a few touch down tornadoes like 3 summers ago but nothing big happened they were where like the farm land mainly was so it didnt destroy anything but crops. LAME!
haha i like how your listening to rise against i always see them when they are in seattle! im excited im goin to the mid west this spring so im gonna see a tornado i'll subscribe to you!!
haha. i know how u feel. ive been interested in tornadoes since i was in 2nd grade. i use to have a real fear of storms. now, i wish i could see a tornado up close. i live in pittsburgh pa and there were a few tornadoes in the past 10 years, but i never seen them. just on the news. f0's. btw, that was a beautiful rainbow u got on camera. :)
We went to Connecticut for vacation last week. My first words to my husband was...it is so GREEN out here. There are so many trees there.lol No wonder you saw green.lol Anyway, we were in New London last week and there was a water spout that was spotted about a mile from where we were staying.
I live in CT too :D It sucks & it's boring. I'm obsessed with tornadoes too & I still wanna chase them & I'm 15.

You are so lucky! I wish I could do storm chasing, but I'm trying to get rid of this hobby and interest. Its just way too dangerous...
