  • you have really good feet.... :) but , it sounds like you are on high heels or something... :P i mean the camera on the floor, not a good idea.... :P

also, the floor seems very slippery, just be careful... :)

  • maybe dont put the camera on the floor boards next time, its a wee bit loud, but well done =D

  • umm not TURNED OUT on some things but kewl

    good job

  • supppppper loud

  • What are your shoes ??

  • pretty goood

  • I just got the Lumina Russian pointe shoes could somebody give me an advice if you know them ?

  • Loud shoes. But ur good!

  • You actually have pretty good feet, and some crazy calf muscles! But work on your tecnique..

  • eeeeepp change to silent shoes or use your muscle more

  • at 1:02 You need to get your heels forward more. You are sickiling your feet.

  • MUSCULAR LEGS

  • perhaps my words were too harsh, since I didn't give any constructive criticism. but without seeing the full body, that is difficult. it looked more like showing off than wanting to improve

  • why would someone put such basic moves on youtube. At least some passes....or a pirroutte. I thought the kicker was that it was a male, but we never discovered that. basiccally a waste of time to watch.

  • Omg ur sooooo good!!!!

  • is it loud cuz your camera picks up every little detail of sound or is it cuz u need to go throug hur shoes more ???

  • i think all the noise's a good thing - you can hear it when you do any sort of rise onto pointe and it looks like you're jumping, if you work throught your foot the noise'll go down so its kinda a guide :P

  • Try to quiet your feet a little and it'll be perfect. Maybe it was just the camera picking up the sound... Idk good job

  • Nice moves but a bit unstable but very nice xxx

  • i dont know how to sew the tring thing on my pointe shoes.

  • how long have u been on pointe and are u supposed to be on them at home..???

  • damn those are loud!!!! dont hop on to pointe everything else was good.

  • tuck in your drawstring :)

  • thats a dude...

  • cazzo ma sono gambe di un uomo?

  • why are they so loud is it the floor? they look like capezios what brand are they? they look nice on your feet but as commented so noisy!

  • why are they so loud is it the floor? they look like capezios what brand are they?

  • Why do so few people wear tights when they perform pointe on YouTube? Just an observation. Don't jump on your pointe shoes in echappes. Also, try to get fully on the box, not on one side or the other. You could roll your ankle that way. In berres (sp?) the back foot should lead, not the front foot. Oh, and this is probably just a matter of preference, but I think most people tuck the bow in. It looks more professional.

  • @godseesme not wearing tights helps you build rougher skin

  • Comment removed

  • @katerynavelychko

Ah okay. It wasn't a stab anyone, by the way. It was just curiousity. I prefer tights and I still build callouses, but I can see how not wearing them would build it faster.

  • @godseesme yeah, that's why I go without them as much as possible, the faster they built the better :P

  • nice! :) just one thing, you're kind siceling (spelling?? lol) on your left foot when you start doing things fast... :)

  • JEEZUS!! look at those calves!!!!!!

  • the loudness might be due to the camera being placed on the floor, or at least that's what it looks like. try placing a book or something under the camera to help muffle the vibrations of the floor affecting the camera. that might help the loudness. my camera does the same thing if i place it directly on the floor even in bare feet.

  • r those new shoes???? they sound REALLY loud!!!!!!

  • in your echappes you're not supposed to jump but make a tendu with both your feet so you really have to use the floor and brush it! love the floor!

  • Wow your calf muscles! What's your workout (like, what exercises do you do?)

  • @enpointe64 Her exercises are prolly just all that pointe!! D: lol. But great job!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ITS SO LOUD

  • Your pointework is fine and your legs are wonderfully developed in muscle tone, but those shoes sound like you're trying to hammer a nail. You sound like a tap dancer. Are they fresh out of the box? Try customizing them a bit. Take a hammer to those shoes. You can also try soaking them in water, slamming them in a door, or putting them under your matress.

Best of all to you. May you truly... well, dance forever.

    --Love Endlessly, Dane Youssef

  • Lovely, baby ballerina. You just rivet. It's often been said many times, many ways... that a girl who dares to take ballet is a ballerina by definition alone. But, no. No, darling one, no.

She is not yet ballerina, but she is close. A ballerina isn't just the principal in the company. She is near. Just like Pointe without Pointe shoes is Demi-Pointe. Semi-Pointe.

As I watch this, I can safely say... "You are ballerina."

--Your New Fan In The Wings, Dane Youssef

  • haha your like jumping into your acchapes, not sliding. its good though :)

  • it looks a bit...rough...I think

  • your feet are very pretty but try rolling through your feet more. you are jumping on point for your seconds which i think is making most of your noise. other than that you did very well.

  • wow that's amazing!!i love pointe shoes,but i'm not in pointe yet,probably in 1 or 2 years congrats!

  • can you say, lead foot?

  • good God there loud pointe's

  • u r not bad)) but try t do everything more gentle..))

  • un consiglio... passa per la mezza!!!!

  • try not to bounce up and down so much, and work your demi pointe in more it will break in the shoes more and let them be more move-able. but great arches and nice shoes, they fit your feet well.

  • what kind of shoes do u use? i have grishko 2007 mine are really loud too!

  • My only suggestion is something that my teacher has been working with my class on... dont jump up onto your pointe, but make sure that you are fully rolling up onto your toes.

  • It looks good! Just be carefull with your right foot, because you're falling back on your foot. But keep up the good work, and keep dancing!!

    Xxxx

  • i don't know anything about pointe work. but it looked good. ;D

  • When you come off of pointe, roll through your demi pointe. Don't just collapse down. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! When you releve, DON'T sickle your feet! I got so scared watch your releves, because I saw a gap between the inside corner of the box and the floor. It hurt my ankles just to watch.

The shoes look good on your feet though.

  • You are a wonderful dancer! <3

  • WHen you were doing echappes you seemed to be leaning to the side, be careful. Don't want to hurt your ankles! But other than that very pretty!

  • dudes i need tips 4 begginers!!!!!! PLEASE!!!

  • WOW!!! Plz could you tell me how painfull pointe shoes are... Im in grade four, going into grade 5, i will be starting pointe soon. Ive herd horrid things like your feet rip, and bleed and hurt...? Is it true!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh but you look amazing, and not inpain though i couldn't see your face!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • @TheJackwillslover123 you just have to deal with it it really hurts!!! i reccomend using pouches and animal wool to cushion your feet as much as u can my feet havnt ripped but they have bled even though my pointe shoes were comfy before i started pointe training make sure they are comfy in the shop but yes they kill sooooooo much!!!!!

  • @LilMissGossip2K10 thnxs soooo much 4 the advice, il try and get hold of some of ththat wool and cushion!!!!

You were really gr8 thnxs again ... x

  • i know i said i reaaaaaalllyy wanted to go on pointe, i have only been on them a few times and boy do they hurt!!!!!! they are soooooo painful, dont rush in like i did it hurts!!!!!

  • Loud pointe shoes. When lowering en pointe, use your muscles to lower softly - it helps. Also, go through your feet more to strengthen them. I have been dancing for 9 years and put on pointe 2 years ago when I started training at the Dance School of Scotland, and the teachers there told me what I've said above. Good work though!!

  • U have pretty shoes!!! But it sounds like ur almost jumping on to point or something , I dunno

  • you are really goood! im not very experianced being en pointe yet but try use your calf and thigh muscles to bring your self down softly it takes a lot of muscle to be able to do it but with a bit of practise it'll start to show :) other then that you rly are soo good :) well done!!

  • I did ballet when i wuz 5 an wuz scared uv the parents watching me!!! lol i started ballet again last year and my teacher moved me up 2 pointe prep. i can't wait 2 get my pointe shoes!!!! hopefull will get them before next year.... i'll b 14 then!!!! (12 almost 13) = ) ps ur so good!!! pointe shoes r beautiful!!!!

  • @aputhemonkey6

hey guyss just found out that i am goingg on pointe afterr i dance in london, a week today yaaay, that was quite spooky though

  • i am 13 and my dance teacher will not let me go onto pointe until i start my periods!!!! i have been doing ballet since i was 6/7. i am on grade 5 (batd) and i am 14 in august. i relli want to go on pointe!

  • I'm no expert, I've just been on pointe for about 3 years now, but you seem to me to be jumping to pointe and back down again; I would work on rolling through your feet a little more softly. Otherwise, you look great! :)

  • I'v been on pointe for 5 yrs. and it doesn't matter wat you weigh just make sure your ankles r strong because if there not that will be very dangerous and you will break them :( But i'm sure you can do it !!! :)

  • she's jump for a echapé.. ;x

  • these are the loudest pointe shoes i have ever heard.

  • @springfaerie1234 it's not the shoes, it's the dancer! You need to use muscle to keep the noise down but she's not so that's why they are SO loud

  • @springfaerie1234 most likely its because of the camera and the type of floor...

  • wow your really good you look very steady! i started ballet in Sep. 09 and im 13 almost 14. I got my first pair of pointe shoes yesterday and i got Bloch Serenade's! keep up the good work! X

  • You started in Sep and already on pointe? jeez. *jealous*

  • wow thats loud!

  • the shoes look great on your feet!

Just during your echappé's try and go into a bigger second (:

  • I live in New Jersey, and I want to go on point. I'm 5 foot 7inches. But, i weigh a little more than I should. How much should I weigh to be on point!? Can you give me any advice or tips???

  • Honestly, I don't think weight matters at all as long as your ankles are strong because it's all in your ankles that will hold you up and keep you balanced. Your teacher will tell you when you seem ready to go on pointe (:

  • Thank you sooo much! you game me more confidence!

  • You're welcome (:

  • you can be any wieght to be on pointe

  • molto stupida!!!si rompono le punte

  • kk thanx yah i wanted 2 get capezio i think ill do that...either that or russian pointe.

  • WHOA!

you could break something with those shoes! Dx

  • @ShanaFlameHaze00 that why you need to have strong legs and ancles

  • I think yur shoes are snaped becase wen yu go up yu can c a sharp bend in the middle of your foot : )

    Yu probs ready no tho

  • Noisy but great!

    nice pointe work!! Well done!

  • Go through your feeet. !

  • hey im about 2 get on pointe but idk wat kind of shoe 2 get. every1 says gaynor mindens r terrible for people with high arches is that true?

  • no, that's not true. they are especially good for high-arched feet, as I heard. but the only real problem is that gaynor mindens are definitely not a good shoe for beginners. they're made for more advanced dancers. I suggest you should go with either bloch, russian pointes, freed or capezio (but I strongly recommended bloch/capezio). they're great for those who've just started pointe.

hope this helps. happy dancing! :)

  • @ticktock098 yes go for some romanian brand for high arches

  • @ticktock098 russian shoes i mean to say srry

  • kk thanx!

  • nice fett- you got a lot of responses. put carpet on the floor to show videos- your not that loud it's the floor. but- teacher says- (that's what I do) demi plie. deep. you won't hurt yourself like everyone thinks- but soon you will need to spring to high arabesque from fifth plie so lower means higher OK?

  • WHACK. WHACK. WHACK. These are the loudest pointe shoes I've ever heard. You may be jumping onto pointe too much, but try to roll through and soften your box because those are SO LOUD.

  • @TheRoamingMilkmen there suposed to be that way

  • thats hot

  • I agree with Dancer96x the last thing you did was you kept sickling your foot (turning towards your little toe too much)

  • Dont jump on the the box but otherwise you did beautifully

  • looks good! just try to slide more in your achapes (spelling?) you are kind of just throwing yourself up and that isn't very good.

  • my teacher tells me to spring up to pointe for pirrouettes and stuff but this is actually jumping. you don't actually want to go off the ground. be careful!

  • great job and remember to keep on those boxes. ♥

  • You have beautiful feet, the shoes fit you well.

They need to be broken in more. Please TUCK the ties/strings into the pointe shoes.

You are actually doing pointe/tap. You are being too heavy and not lifing out of your shoes. learn how to slow down and use your feet in the shoes, so that when you come down you either roll down softly or spring down via 7/8th pointe. Never clump down in pointe work. You have strong legs, now work on body to support your legs and feet.

  • you legs r very strong but you are jumping up onto pointe you need to role through ur shoes please or ull hurt urself

  • calm down! well , youre doing really well but try rolling on pointe and calm down! never ever jump on pointe youll have biggg problems!!!

  • ROLL THROUGH YOUR FEET! lol. but seriously, you are good, but rolling through your feet is better for you, and i makes it not so loud. your bourre's are nice, but turn out your back foot more. maybe a different shoe might work for you.... something with a longer vamp... russian pointes or something.. otherwise, really good! keep up the ballet work!

    -𐐚𐐨𐑃𐑃𐐩𐑉𐐠𐐶𐐨𐑽⒈

  • very clonky like me! Ur were great apart from the ending releves when you were rolling backwards. <3 x

  • on you last releves bit you have to pay more attention to your big toe, i saw that you're rolling more to the back....jusst what my teacher tells me :)

i love you feet very nice point, full stretched ankle and good arch:) i have flat feet wish i had feet like yours :)

  • Dancing is not so noisy! =.=

  • your amazing!

  • just remember, turn out, turn out, turn out!

  • you have beast calves!! totally jealous!

  • oh girl,

    you's jumping onto ur echappes...

  • that floor is good to work on your softness with your feet. Try doing some echappes while trying to control the noise you make. Make more of it as a slide of the foot then a spring out to the sides. Doing it slowly works first then gradually speed up until its quieter than before. The worse thing seeing girls on pointe is sounding like they are office ladies walking on heels click clacking through an office haha XD Good work otherwise :P

  • yeah good! Just a little loud but i guess you know that lol

  • very noisy, but good work!! =)

  • were you trained in the italion/cecetti method?

  • little sickle, little bit of jumping, but nice work. keep it up:]

  • nice muscle strength and its loud but that is all you could work on it might just be the floor and its fine to jump onto pointe not all methods say so though but nice work

  • kinda loud or just me?

  • It's not graceful at all it's almost like someone has forced you to do it

  • you're muscles are huge!! don't jump onto pointe. But good job.

  • not all methods say its fine to jump onto pointe but its fine

  • Her legs are beautiful... Shapelu and very strong looking! Dont be jelous!

  • I'm not jealous. Haveing big muscles is good. I wish mine were like that.

  • Belles jambes, joliment musclées!

    Good work!

  • can someone tel me what sickling is??

  • sickeling is when you ankles are always leaning in. it's kind of hard to explain..

  • thx!

  • how long have you been on pointe? you seem to be doing pretty well! except that i noticed you were sickling sometimes. and i would also suggest that you take smaller steps on your boures. good luck!

  • on your echappes your left foot looks like its sliding and you sickle and it seems loud but it might just be the floor

  • too noisy, really... and try going on ur pointes after going on ur half pointes (is that english?? lol) and i find ur legs too straight, hm not enough smooth, sry, im french, i dont speak very good... XXX

  • you are like tompoing and hoping dont do that s much... my mom thought there ws a thuinderstorm going on when i playedthis so just a helpful hiunt

  • roll through and dont hop, but very good! i admire girls who go on pointe

  • pretty good

  • belle gambe!

  • don't hop on to pointe but you have beautiful feet!!

    keep up the good work

  • so loud

  • its the floor i thinks

  • AHHH! loud much? but pretty legs and feet. (it helps with noise if you don't hop en pointe and roll through your feet). keep it up.

  • your supposed to hop sometimes

  • beautiful arch...watch for sickling! :)

    *Crash*

  • nice turn out... but don't roll ur foot back [:

  • pretty good. try rolling more, definitely. Your shoes are so loud!!! is it really that loud, or is that just the camera/your floor? try doings exersizes to stretch the front of your foot so that your tondu is better, and your feet wont sickle. good luck, keep it up!

  • ROLL THROUGH YOUR FEET!

  • gorgeous feet! the shoes sound really loud =P

  • Okay, you're a little agressive... but beautiful work! Keep it up! God bless....

  • your jumping to much in your echeppes

  • you ARE AWESOME!

  • what kind are your shoes?

  • do u mean brand?

  • You are really good! LIke others were sayin watch the sickle but keep being awesome!!

    xoxo

    K

  • I think you are definitely really good. Great feet! I would only say to make sure you really get your heels down coming off pointe, especially in plie. And maybe try rolling through your feet a little more. Good work though :D

  • nice feet you just need to slow down

    btw what brand???

    lizzie =D

  • very good!, work on rolling through demi thoo, other then that, it was very very goood!

  • you're very good !

  • yeah-roll through demi and you are sickling a little. but its hard not to some times. you rock <3

  • i think u r really good and that the others are just really jelous

  • you need to rol through demi more and your sickling slightly

  • is it true people put wood in the ballet shoes to make it look good?

  • no.

  • THAT WAS TOTTALLY AWESOME!

  • The noise is not professional ;) you don't hear professional ballerinas dancing on pointe.

    your exercise was OK.

maybe your ballet trainer has already told you to "unroll" your feet after the echappes?

how long have you been dancing on pointe?

  • of corce because those were hard ballet shoes, im guessing
