  • thank you

  • @TheRoseHDA

    You are very welcome!

  • how well did the mosaic grout work on the shoes?? did it make the mirror cloudy??

  • @JesikaVibes

Hey! I didn't use the grout. It shouldn't make the mirrors cloudy though. Grout is made to wipe off mirrors/glass. However you can mix color in grout like red, blue, purple etc. which may look really bangin in between the mirrors. I have white grout but I should try add some color and test it out on a pair of mirror shoes. We might be on to something LOL.

  • Wow, those are seriously amazing! Excellent job!

  • @supernobody

Thank you so much! I wish there was a way to really show them in person. They are so amazing and BAD!

  • Omg I hope I have enough I only ordered 3000

  • how long did it take ur rhinestones to come in i ordered 3000 do u think thatll be enough IM NERVOUS lol

  • @arri901

LOL. Well I used about 3,000 so it may be close. It took 10 days the first time I ordered and the 2nd time it took about a 4 weeks, which was around Christmas.

  • omg amazzzing!! I love these shoes you are too cute too. Did they end up cutting your feet or anything and how did the mirrors stay on? too dangerous or worth it?

  • @shemlloshmishmey

Thanks so much. I have not cut myself or anything. In my opinion it was soooooo worth it. I love them! I wore them on Superbowl Sunday and this guy was trying to see his reflection in them, it was hilarious. I actually get a lot of guys saying how bangin they are. It's almost depressing while you're working on them LOL but the hard work pays off.

  • What manioc?? Or however u spell it lol but ur shows are badd ass!!!

  • @RemixxGlamGal

Thank you! If only you could see them in person. Badd ass is a fabulous description!

  • how many mirrors did you use

  • @arri901

About 3-4 I think. I didn't do the whole shoe in mirrors because I put rhinestones on the heels and platform so if you want to do the whole shoe you'll probably need more.

  • BEAUTIFUL SHOES!!!!1

  • @bubbleseast

Thanks so much. I feel like I have a work of art on my feet.

  • Giirrrrlll!! You went HARD on them shoes! Those are HOTTTTTT! I've gotta try this.

  • @leneepooh

Thank you! Did you see the update video? They were just blinging like crazy. Now I know why I keep getting stopped so much when I wear them. Dag, I can't make it 1 block without being stopped. LOL

  • @iDionce I did! I actually saw that one first, so I had to see this one to see how you did it!! I plan on trying this, but just with mirrors at first (the mirrors are here, the crystals are taking too long, I'm impatient!! lol).

  • @leneepooh

Hahaha I understand that! My last order of rhinestones took about 4 weeks. The ones from this video took about 10 days. I love them though. They bling so hard and are so cheap. I want to do a shoe with mirrors only. I think my shoes are too busy. Everybody else loves them but the mirrors, spikes, and rhinestones are a bit much sometimes. I luv them though.

  • i love those shoes! that so creative i would never think of that in a million year... thanks!

  • @modelsexi

Thanks! I just love them! I just made another pair slightly different. Hopefully I can post a video soon.

  • Those shoes are gorgeous!! I'm going to try and make these myself. I think I'm going to get one of those electric nail filers and try to file down the edges of the mirrors or maybe get my husband to get some strong sand paper. Maybe that'll help. Hmmm...

  • @gabbymtt

That's a good idea. I was worried about scratching the mirrors up. I made sure that they were safe enough to put on and that's it. LOL. No one should be grabbing my shoes.

  • Hello, Dionce loved your video! shoe mirror, liked to try the shoe mirrors, I'm Brazilian! but I live in Portugal 10 years ago this week I saw your video and I loved my question is, how many millimeters thick as the mirror you use? let my email and please if you can stand waiting for your reply (anapaulalondrinense@hotmail.com) thanks

  • @anapri100

Hey Ana! I don't know the thickness? It wasn't listed on the mirror but I tried to get the thinnest that I could find. You need a really thin mirror to lay flat

  • Bam!! Subscribed

  • @ItsBlisskrieg

    LOL thanks so much!

  • could you do a vid of wat to wear with them?:)

  • @Kayleigh087

I'm glad you asked because I've been meaning to do that for a while. I just wore them last night but I'm going to do an OOTN with them tonight. Hopefully the lighting will be good. I'll post it as a response to this one

  • Yay! I just finished making a pair. I can't wait to wear them out this weekend. Thanks for the tut! :)

  • @allsmilez2day

GREAT! Prepare to get a lot of attention.

  • @allsmilez2day Congrats, Howd your first wear go? did you dance in them?

  • any othr complaints other than the tightness: like cuts, pieces falling off, little noises or anything??? Love the end result. how long to make one shoe?

  • @BrownSkinMorena

Hey good questions, the shoes have loosened up a little so they are perfect form me now. Not sure if they will continue loosen up as I wear them. Not 1 piece of glass or rhinestone has fallen off so I am going to move away from hot glue as much as possible and use the E-6000 faithfully. No noises, no cuts maybe a slight prick when people grab them. It took about 10hrs per shoe.My only complaint: VERY SHINY and attention grabbing. I can't walk 10 feet without being stopped. LOL

  • @iDionce So i hope to try this soon, how much would you say you spent on supplies, it makes for a great bday gift too..........wondering how they will hold up for the summer, maybe blind a few people lol. So would you say the e-6000 is better use?

Also if you hapen to see any other mirror colors you should post Im sure they are out their because i see vases made of glass/mirror in tiffany blue, green purple.

  • @bunnaboo

Hey, I spent about $70 I guess, The shoes were $50 then probably $20 on the glue, mirrors, rhinestones, spikes etc. Love the E-6000. Not one piece of glass has come off. I thought about making them as gifts but 25-30 hours is tooooooo long for me. I'm still searching for mirrors in different colors, The only thing I've found is mosaic pieces.

  • OMG they are amazing!!!! shoes like that could easily go over $100 at a store! They are so original and look mega expensive.. can I place an order? I'm an 8.5 lol

  • @chocolate2588

LOL.There's a website that sells them for about $150. Yes they look super expensive & outta this world. People were not even focused on the ball dropping for NY eve they were all just staring at my shoes.

  • @iDionce yes I'd like to place an order as well. I'm a size 7. I saw the shoes on the website and yours look much better. Please let me know if I can place and order ASAP. Thanks

  • @chauntinal

Hmmm I wonder what website you're talking about? I've found quite a few on ebay, etsy, and other websites. Where are you located?

  • GURL I LOVE those shoes...I just want to give birth to them! LOL I don' care how long it takes I'm making a pair. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  • @ladylucilep1

Hahahaha well give birth to a pair then LOL. You are so welcome & please make yourself a pair. It's a little overwhelming but once you're done & wearing them you'll know that it was all worth it.

  • Damn these shoes are fierce as hell!!! I will make these to ring in the New Year next year. I will probably have years of bad luck for breaking all those mirrors, but I'll be fierce! lol

  • @tashaakalilmama23

The video & pictures just can't show you how bad they are. You will see when you do a pair yourself. I can't walk 10 feet without being stopped or mesmerizing people. Don't worry about the mirrors LOL. People were asking me if I believed in getting "bad luck" & I said "no" not really I believe in Jesus Christ. So break those mirrors and get fierce!

  • @iDionce lol girllll I can't wait!!!

  • @tashaakalilmama23

    How's it going?

  • @iDionce Hey girl I haven't had the time to make them just yet. I think I am going to have to make me some for Valentines Day!!! lol

  • how did the grout work???

  • O and please let me know when you find a solution for the jagged edges. Thats the part that had me mad

  • @zimm919ang @lanai75 I feel like I don't really have any good news. I chose not to use the grout. I have worn the shoes about 4 times now and I'm going to wear them tomorrow for New Years. Some pieces of glass are still a little sharp but I just tried to put a lil E-6000 on them. Once you get the shoe on you're good. One lady below used clear silicon caulk for the sharp pieces. I bought the plastic mirror from Hobby Lobby & it's not too bad, just not quite as shiny as the real mirrors

  • I started mine and I noticed it was easier to use the tiny pieces on the curvy parts of the shoe and big pieces on the long flat parts. I got discouraged at times but I hung in there. Its like putting together a puzzle. I hope my shoes don't shrink because I bought them true to my size so they won't flop around.

  • @zimm919ang

Keep hanging in there!!!! Trust me I know how you feel. That's why I don't want to do them again or for anybody else. WHEW!!! But I just LOVE them & got soooo many compliments on them. My shoes are still a lil tight. They did loosen slightly. I think the E-6000 doesn't "give" like the hot glue does. Maybe if you stick something in the shoe (paper, cloth etc.) before the E-6000 cures it won't tighten up too much.

  • It was kinda hard to hear you hun can you please tell me who you purchased those rhinestones from and what was the size? also where did you get the Mirrow pieces from?

  • @daisydallaz

Hi! No worries, I got the mirrors at Joann Fabrics and the rhinestones are from a store called bead_a_better on ebay. If you check the description box there are links posted that will take you to the EXACT items that I bought. Good luck. I'm about to try another pair myself.

  • So creative! Please check out my page and subscribe! Love ya ;)

  • @whitwhit1201

Will do! Thanks so much for the compliment!!!! Luv ya back.

  • girl i want u to do a pair for me

  • @nellzubad

I'm thinking about doing a pair occasionally for someone to try out a few different styles.

  • girl you did a great job that shoe is hot! love it!

  • @divaaldatime

Thanks so much. I'm trying to work on a new design now. Are you going to try them? I love to see the other ideas everybody is doing

  • U should charge and make them yourself at home, shoot id buy them!!!

  • @laquachia

If it didn't take so long I probably would. But there are a few websites that sell them and I was thinking about listing there info too. I just found one lady that makes them and they are BAD!!! Like I want to buy a pair!!

  • yes what i did is outlined the mirror after i glued it to the shoe so i only got the jagged parts...but you can also take each piece and outline it in the caulk then glue it to the shoe. i can email you pix of mine so you see how it looks

  • @corvetwilliams

Yes! Please do. I bought some of the plastic mirrors from Michaels so I was also thinking of cutting them and seeing how they look.

  • you can use clear silicon caulk (buy at home depot, menards, lowes, etc) it stops the jagged edges on the glass/mirror. you can also use rubber cement i have yet to try it but its an option.

  • @corvetwilliams

Thanks so much because I want to do another pair but I want to improve them 1st. My neighbor is a plumber & he mentioned the Alex plu caulk but we wondered if it would kind of mess the mirrors up?? I accidently got E-6000 on the mirrors but it doesn't look to bad. Do you know anything about clear grout?

  • Comment removed

  • Those are HAAWWTTT where did u get the spikes from?

  • @ladydeedee512

A lot of people get there's from studsandspikedotcom I think but I got mine from ebay and I think the store was called spikes and leather. I'll put the link in the description box right now since I can't post it here.

  • you should do a giveaway those are hotttttt

  • @sexyyoungin287

I will probably do a few giveaways with other items that I make. Shoes are too difficult because everybody wears different sizes, some people can't wear heels, these take over 20 hours to make, and ALL the glue changes the size of the shoe and it smaller. So I'll most likely give away some earrings or purses soon.

  • OMG love. <3

  • @cyberdoll13

Thanks! I think I'm about to try this on a pair of flats next.

  • ....

AND I WILL POST MY VIDEO OF MY HEELS WHEN I'M DONE!!

  • @sexy8692

YES!!!! Please post a video. When I first started I thought I just messed the shoes up but I kept on working and they started to look so good. I'm going to try to wear mine tonight. I want to do another pair but I'm tryin to figure out what I can change up. I can't wait to see your video. And BE CAREFUL. (I'm going to use the plastic mirror next time)

  • HEY HUNN!!!! OMG....I'M WORKING ON MY PAIR NOW AND I'M NOT EVEN FINISH ON ONE, JUST HALF WAY AND GIRLLLLLLL I CAN'T STOP LOOKING AT THEM!!!! THEY GO SOOOOOOOOOO HARD!!!!!! LOL I'M IN LOVE WITH THEM ALREADY!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THID DIY AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! MAUH!!!

  • oh no my daughters r 3 and 8, i wa jus saying how much we love diy projects and glad i found u.

  • @kissurkids1

I'm glad you found me too! I work with 3-6 year olds and they just love arts & crafts & DIY projects. They don't get to do them very often at school so its wonderful that you & your daughters are doing projects together. I have so many in my mind but not enough time to get them out. I'm going to try for 2 videos this weekend. TTYL

  • Hey,i am a diy fan me and my lil daughters!Can i jus say I love u!

  • @kissurkids1

Awwww thank you soooooooo much!!! Your daughters didn't try this one did they? I was scared to do this project myself LOL. I just received my order of plastic mirrors from Joann Fabric today so I'm going to do another DIY using those. They look pretty good but not quite like the real thing. But its definitely a lot safer.

  • The Best DIY EVER!!! great job. Did how do the grout turn out

  • @mocha2z

Hey luv, I DID NOT use the grout!! I was scared to mess up the shoe???? I want to do another pair but you know it's hard to work on shoes for 20 hours & then mess them up!! The shoes are pretty safe anyways. I'm careful when I put them on though. If I find clear grout then I may use that on my next pair or I can add color to the grout that I have. I'm also thinking of trying the fake mirrors but I don't know if they will look as good

  • im thinking bout trying also did u get my message gave u a shoutout last night lol

  • That's what I figured. I made that comment before I watched the entire length of the video. I see so many videos on youtube about swarvoski crystal but those rhinestones are crazy expensive and nobody has 300 dollars to spend on some rhinestones. Those shoes you made are hot! Those shoes look better that the name brain shoes that I see on the internet. If you sold those shoes, you can bet you can make a killing!

  • @lmishelle2005

I couldn't see myself making these b/c it takes soooooo long! LOL. I'd have to do it for fun & just extra spending money. I thought about getting the swarovski because they are the BEST but I'm Dionce not Beyonce. Thanks for the compliment.

  • Did you use swarvoski crystals?

  • @lmishelle2005

Heck no LOL. $2 rhinestones from China I think. The link is in the description box, they were from ebay. I got the mirrors, rhinestones, and glue all for under $20.

  • I NEED TO DO THIS BECAUSE I HAVE SOO MANY HEALS I DONT WEAR NO MORE AND NEED TO DO SUMTHN WITH THEMLOL

  • @PiinkSugaSpice

I promise, I kept trying to think of shoes that I had either scuffed up or didn't want anymore but I couldn't. So I had to buy a new pair of shoes just to glue stuff all over them

  • @iDionce o ok lol it look soo time cosuming but the outcome Baddddddddddddd

  • @PiinkSugaSpice

Please try this, or something better! I'm about to get started soon on my next project. I work at a school in SE , 50 hrs a week so I don't have much time now.

  • Who did you get the stones from on eBay?? These are HOT!

  • @sorinthia

Yes. I put all the links in the description box. They are about $2 a bag and I used 3 bags. It takes about 10 days to get them since they are coming from overseas. If you want to do rhinestones & mirrors too, I would do the rhinestones first and then deal with the mirrors second.

  • Luv these!!! Girl u kill them...What r u wearing w/these? Showing sum luv frm Nyc, keep the Videos n ideas coming... :)

  • @geoinharlem

Thanks luv! I have an outfit in mind that I'm going to wear this weekend for Howard homecoming. Hopefully it won't get too cold or rain. If it does then I have to go back to the drawing board LOL. I could've just posted pics with outfits on, but I want to walk in them for at least 5 hours so I can give a better opinion/update.

  • don't use that glue inside! how can you handle it, lol. I was high as a kite after using that stuff. it's dangerous to use inside though.... extremely strong and works amazingly. but dangerous. but dammmnn these shoes are... omg so amazing good job

  • @0410blossom

Haha I didn't have any problems & it says use with adequate ventilation (open a window). I definitely couldn't make the shoes outside, not for 20 hours. I'm not an outdoors person at all. Wait....maybe I was high LOL. J/K. I will post pics of me wearing them by next week so check back soon. And I can update everybody on any issues.

  • Baby those shoes are the truth.....i made some useing the same glue. they are tight as hell. i got them to loosen by walkin in the house in them doing random things....we gon have to exchange ideas cause i got some the kids aint ready for. i went to hobby lobby and i swore i saw a clear grout.....ill get back with you on that.

  • @noirdiva1

Thanks so much. Yeah we need to link up and brainstorm. I was thinking of putting the E-6000 in a syringe and putting it in the cracks (a lot of work) or my friend was thinking the clear alex plus for caulking, but I would still need to put it in a syringe so it doesn't get on the mirrors. I don't want to change/mess up the shoe so I'm going to wear them & just won't let anybody touch them. LOL. They're safe enough to wear.

  • oh yea...let me know if you use the grout stuff and how it works out

  • @ccain68

I'll use the grout on my next pair. I don't want to mess these babies up. LOL.

  • I LOVE IT IM GOING TO TRY IT :)

  • @tsetta26 @ccain68 @NykiLuv @sewamazing

I failed to mention that the glue made my shoes really tight so you probably want to start with a loose shoe or 1/2 size bigger. Also I just saw a pair for sale on ebay (search mirror shoes) for about $250 and it was done on a teal shoe with teal rhinestones. Very nice. I can't wait to see what other styles you all come up with. I didn't use the grout and I wanted to use some chains so I'll probably be making another one soon (RED maybe??)

  • @iDionce THAT WILL BE HOT AND I WONDER IF A HOT GLUE GUN WILL DO THE JOB DO YOU THINK BUT NOW THAT YOU TOLD ME THAT I THINK I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER PAIR TO PLAY WITH THANKS FOR THE INFO

  • @tsetta26

I really debated on using hot glue. The only reason why I didn't is because the E-6000 is very strong, dries CLEAR, and has like a "durability" to it so the mirrors can shift a little without falling off or breaking. Hot Glue just sticks!! It dries really fast but it dries semi-clear. Did you see my 1st video with the hot glue and rhinestone shoes? I luv those shoes & they were also really tight but loosened right up once I wore them.

  • @tsetta26

It's really just hard for me to make a good call b/c I have no experience with E-6000 and the hot glue worked very good with the other rhinestone shoes. Both shoes got really tight from the glue/adhesive and until I wear these glass ones IDK how it will loosen up. I feel like you're going to be the person that lets me know how it turns out though LOL.

  • Sis, this is so Outstanding! The shoes are lovely. You can buy small plastic silver glass tiles from the craft store (the kind of little plastic mirrors that are in Indian women's sari's) and get that great effect as well. Use woven canvas gloves when working with those glass shards though, to avoid being nicked at cut through the latex. Keep up your fabulous creativity, thanks for sharing this!

  • @sewamazing

Thanks soooo much for the info. I was really scared that the glass was going to cut through the glove but it didn't. Now I gotta pray that I don't get cut wearing them. I saw the plastic glass but I didn't think it would give the shine & jagged depth of real glass. I'm going to look for the plastic mirror at the arts & crafts stores and see what it looks like in person. I'll definitely try it out!

  • gurl !!!!!!!!!! those are the baddest shoes i have seen on youtube.........fiyah!!!!! i might try this..thanks for sharing the link

  • @ccain68

Hun, they are not going to be ready for you in TX. They aren't ready here. The way the light hits the mirrors and rhinestones is insane!!!

  • I was waiting for you to post a vid on these shoes cuz i am def gonna make these idc how long it takes cuz they are the serious bizness!!!

  • @NykiLuv

KJ, I was just going to text you today & ask if you checked this video yet. LLS. Trust it took like 20 hours but so worth it.

  • @iDionce girl you knew i was on it as soon as you sent me that pic...LMAO, just gotta get all the materials and that will be my lil project on the weekends when i'm not doing anything anyways!!! what type of glue was that???

  • @NykiLuv

E-6000 glue. They have it at the arts & crafts stores. I put a link to it in the description box.

  • Very *CREATIVE* gurl those thangs are BADDDDDD!! love em'

  • @Tanntalizing

Thanks hun, Pictures coming soon!!!! They are stunning!!!! The light hits the mirrors and rhinestines and it just blings. 20 hours of work paid off.

  • very nice and creative

  • @FULLER103

Thank you very much! I hope that some of you all try this.

  • Hey boo u go girl very creative! !!!I love the finished look awesome job!!! Love your videos

  • @forbiddenlipgloss

Hey luv, thanks so much. I have no idea what my next project will be. I hope my creative juices start flowing

  • girl you done did the fool on that damn heel. okay! love it, make sure you take a picture of your whole outfit when you wear them.

  • @jackieboy73

Hey Jackie! Thanks for the compliment. Taking pictures with some outfits is definitely next on my list. That will give it the "whole" picture. I gotta find my memory card for my camera.

  • OMG you are so creative! Love it! I have to try this.. When r u coming back to Texas?

  • @dallasdiva1978

Hey Diva! Thanks so much. I'm going to be in TX in July. I can't wait. I should've just moved this year. I'm not sure what part though??? Houston, Dallas, or even Killeen.
