I am not sure if it is clear to some, so to stop any confusion here it goes. This is a group of re-enactors who participate in events at the William Whitley House State Historic Site. They portray the militia that Col Whitley commanded from 1795 till just before the war of 1812. This is NOT the Kentucky State Militia they are only historical interpetor of the Historic Whiltley Militia.
