I paid these amount but the CSA took an extra 1,600. No explanations, no papers, nothing! I hate the CSA.

Why is there not a system for trust funds for education, actitivies and grocery certificates etc. Child support monies could easily be controlled so that there is no way the mom gets it, but only the childs funding is provided for. We have the technology to separate accounts and pay direct to institutions etc. Then we should use it.
I see more men reneging on child support for worry it goes to the mom, but that does not solve helping raise the child.

The Gov't doesn't care what happens after they take their cut of the money, otherwise they'd send CPS to audit these mothers and make sure the funds are spent on what they're supposed to be spent on. It happened already to a friend of mine who served in Afghanistan and on coming back got slapped with Child Support and arrears while being gone over seas. He tried to get custody because the mother was kind of a coke head at one time but still didn't get diddly. His visitation got screwed also.
That's criminal that they would let the mother (a coke head) retain custody and sit there and throw your friend under the bus and deny him custody. Common sense says the CS would be going towards the woman's drug habbit instead of for the child.

Had her new relationship worked out chances are we would never see her again. Since it did not the lure of CS an Alimony was the other option. My husband has to pay $544 a month for two children from his previous marriage, which is rediculously high considering he's not making the big bucks working a construction job. @1WhoSeeks Last time I went to court in 1992 the Judge was getting my ex cornered with two lies... her smile and confidence soon disappeared, she went red and more red, almost purple... and then... yes you guessed it, she started to cry, big tears all over the ugly court furniture. 10 minutes later she was laughing again when the sentenced was passed for me to pay her $10,000. I paid these amount but the CSA took an extra 1,600. No explanations, no papers, nothing! I hate the CSA.

Learn the law, fact: most child support is based on void judgments and can be gotten rid off. NOO, it aint easy, the corrupt system is dependent on the continued stealing from fathers. Now , understand this , you still have to support you kids, after all they are your kids. The Supreme Court says you can make private arrangements and kick the greedy state out. So far, the only mothers I have met who aren't working the system for their personal benefit are those who grew up fatherless because of their own greedy mothers. I hope my stepchildren are also learning from their mother's actions and turn out to be better parents themselves and better human beings in general. It should be considered a criminal act to deny children their father (or mother in some cases). No law should make it okay to throw my child's father in jail under any circumstances.

Ex wife divorced my hubby while he was overseas.She got everything & still not satisfied.Kids are now 32 & 35 living in other states since 18 yrs. old & before.Ohio is still taking IRS EIC refund we wouldn't get w/o a grown disabled child of our own & garnisheeing his minimum wage.Legal Aid says they can't help & Toledo Bar says they only do pro bono cs collection not disputes.IRS says Ohio has to quit requesting it.KyCSA tried to get it fixed & was ignored.Ohio audit shows $0. owed so go fig.

i agree that child support is not meant for anything other then the child! there needs to be a law in place that if someone is caught mis-using funds that are meant for their child, then they should be forced to pay those funds back, but it does indeed cost a great deal of money to raise kids, i know, i have 7! however i am married & my husband works days & i work nights, we both contribute! if you have children, other then a new baby, both parents should work! especially with the economy!

Why is there not a system for trust funds for education, actitivies and grocery certificates etc. Child support monies could easily be controlled so that there is no way the mom gets it, but only the childs funding is provided for. We have the technology to separate accounts and pay direct to institutions etc. Then we should use it.
I see more men reneging on child support for worry it goes to the mom, but that does not solve helping raise the child.

My daughter's mom rarely has her daughters (one daughter from other marriage) My daughter is either with me or her Grandma (When I work) Her mom gets over $1000 total from me and her other ex. She spends NOTHING ON THE GIRLS. I buy the medicines, school supplies, clothes, insurance, and daycare along with child support. The MOM works at a Bar (She is 32) bringing people home to party, throws the girls off all the time and ends up with a NEW CAR every year

No oversight on the process at all. The Gov't doesn't care what happens after they take their cut of the money, otherwise they'd send CPS to audit these mothers and make sure the funds are spent on what they're supposed to be spent on. Isn't too hard to produce receipts they give them to people whenever something is bought. Since the IRS audits people they gov't can audit mothers who misspend child support but they won't because they don't care about the kids.

It happened already to a friend of mine who served in Afghanistan and on coming back got slapped with Child Support and arrears while being gone over seas. He tried to get custody because the mother was kind of a coke head at one time but still didn't get diddly. His visitation got screwed also.

I wonder what is the process by which individual judges can be investigated for these kinds of attrocities...or if people would have to go to the supreme court to fight this...or if it's an issue the federal government leaves to the states....

It doesnt have to. The laws that exist were drafted by either pussybeggers, manginas or chivalrous fools who legitimately thought that perscribing to feminist idiology was for the BENEFIT of women. Unfortunately these idiots failed to realise that laws are not meant to be for the benefit of any one group, but for the whole. she'll take his money, and her new husband's, and money for her other child with another man, she's got it set while we are struggling to even buy a crib....our son can't play sports this year because we now can't afford it....something needs to change! This is not fair to my husband and our family...it would be different if he was able to see the child, but she won't let him.....we don't even know where they live, but she knows everything about us....what can we do??? (btw we are in canada)

This psycho sent my husband pictures of the child right after she sent the court papers.....slap in the face???? I emailed her pics of our son and our ultrasound of our next baby, and said in the email that her child has every right to know that she's going to have another half brother or sister, then she emails back telling me off, asking why I would send pic of them when the child's never going to see them...i responded saying that it's only because she won't let the child see them....cont

she would have lost her welfare status if they knew she lived with this guy.....anyway, my husband ended up paying $400 more a month to a child that he is only a "sperm donor" for. We are now on our second child who is due in June, and we can barely make it paycheck to paycheck. so my life is ruined because of some chick who admitted to me that she poked a hole in the condom to get pregnant, considers my husband as her sperm donor, and doesn't want him in the child's life???...cont

we didn't have any contact from her for 2 years straight then she drops this on us, come to find out she got married and had to go off of welfare in Sept so she wrote up the court papers. (BTW she has another child with another guy who went to jail for molesting my husband's child).....who knows how long she lived with this guy b4 she married him.....and we know she didn't tell welfare because her taxes show she was on welfare up unitl sept of 08....cont.

She still to this day has not let him see the child, and when we were visiting our home town for a week before he had to leave for afghanistan he asked to see the child, the mother wrote back saying that she hoped he understood why she couldn't see the child and that again, he would not be contacted anymore for money or clothes or anything.......now, 2 years later she took him to court for more child support...9 years backpay to be exact, and half of his afghanistan money......cont

she kept emailing asking for more money on the side so she wouldn't have to claim it with welfare, and then she would change her mind and tell us that she would never contact us anymore for money, or for anything else. My husband changed jobs, the mother knew this for several years but never took him back to court saying that there was no point for her to because it would just count against her welfare check, and she didn't want to put us out financially if she didn't have to.....cont

My husband got a girl pregnant on a one night stand 13 years ago. He got a job, paid the child support that was ordered, and the mother went on welfare. He had no visitation rights at all. When we were expecting our 1st child, we told her, and had constant contact with her for 4 years, but still no visitation. We had contact through email, and in those emails she constantly reminded my husband that he was only considered her sperm donor, and she wished she never had her child with him....cont

Why should a man be forced to pay child support for a child he doesn't want if a woman can terminate a pregnancy becuase she is not ready to be a parent? This is not a demostration of equal rights. Coming soon...I will have a website where people can sign a petition banning forced child support. This law should be passed immediately to be equal with Roe V Wade. It is unconstitutional to force a man to pay for a child he doesn't want.

I get were your coming from, but it's a little more difficult to actually kill what would be your child then it is to say it. The way child support is set up is rediculous and sadly it is almost granted to the woman every time even if custody is 50 50 or the child lives with the father for the majority of time. Also some mothers are dicks and blow that money on shit for them selves or don't actually need the money so it's all fucked up, it does need reform.

As a custodial father of abondon children (girls); I Watched as a bias system extend all effort to make their mother a victim during the divorce process. Had her new relationship worked out chances are we would never see her again. Since it did not the lure of CS an Alimony was the other option. In short: lawyers made 30K in this court aided effort and gave me no backing at all.
Six years later she has paid $0 in child support.! !!
Lawyers are the only winners in a divorce!

Even though I dont live in Utah, from what I can understand in this video, its sounds very interesting. to bad the video for most of it is poor. At least for me. I have my children 5 days a week in the summer, and more recently she has moved it back to only 2 days during school years. she did that on her own, no change in custody agreement, but she knows I can not afford an attorney. Legal help seems to be free for females, not men. I agree, accountably with support pay is vital and fair

id say it benifits the parent i pay approx £680 p/m thats about $1,300 and ontop of that have to buy clothes,school wear and still enjoy giving presents she did exactly the same to some other poor guy so the amount is doubled if not more,she has big house 2 cars and toy boys also jobless we both live in bed sits working our ass off to fund her life style also cant afford a relationship,i think its right to pay but not % it should be a fixed equal fair rate that applys to all weekend parents

Thanks to child support, my mother could drink two cases of beer a week while smoking 10 packs a day. That's pretty much what it did for us. That and her $500 a month electric bill for growing pot.

I have my daughter for at least 10 days a month and for 3 months every summer and her mother collects a check. And after the summer I still have to buy school clothes and supplies or my daughter will go without. On top of it all my daughter's mother has a combined work history of less than one year at age 30. Child support has become an extention of welfare.

My husband has to pay $544 a month for two children from his previous marriage, which is rediculously high considering he's not making the big bucks working a construction job. Having a child of our own we know it doesn't cost $270 each and every month to raise a child. And we also know that his ex-wife spends hardly any money on the kids, so unless the laws change it should be called ex-spousal support.

My grandmother from Austria would have let those kids know the financial facts of life. My immigrant grandparents would have told those kids "nothing in the will for you", you are robbing your father, be ashamed. since child support specifically follows court orders obligators should state your willingness to make a school loan equal to what is owed in child support for the specific child only and the recipient (xwife or xhusband) never handles the money at all it would be put in a trust fund managed and monitored by an court certified ombundsman in exchange that that all previous child support be waived andor forgiven.
