Interesting footage. I am not so familiar with ants, but my guess is that the workers are "cleaning" the new one. Many insects are a white or clear color before their exoskeleton hardens. They don't move much because the new, soft exoskelton could be damaged with excessive use/force before it's hardened and ready.

I didn't know that. I thought, maybe it feels like I feel when I get up in the morning :) and the first moves are a bit hard.
