oh man please give me those days back..... cricket is just not the same without these players: Saurav Ganguly SHane Warne Steve Waugh Brett Lee Shoib Akhtar Wasim Akram Inzamam Sanath jayasurya Brian Lara Michael Bevan Saqlain Mushtaq Anil Kumble Waqar Younis Hershele Gibbs Lance Klusner Allan Donald Makhaya Ntini n so many others
Does anybody else notice that India play opposition spinners terribly in the first innings of a series, i'm thinking of gavin robertson, nicky boje, bishoo, panesar, swann etc, playing shots English batsmen would be proud of and then for the rest of the time just tearing the spinners a part? Is this to give false hope? I mean Azza lobbed to point from a wide slow spinning leg break when in the next test it would go out of the ground?!
@robelinda2 - Mate huge respect for your diligence, patience and passion for uploading videos of our beloved sport..1100 videos & counting..It will take anyone a lifetime to even watch all your videos once..If i haven't already said it,i will now - Thank you..
@GetBackToNowhere Think there's a small difference .. that was a fantastic team on its way to greatness that was beaten in the lions den in terribly alien conditions .[barring the 96 delhi test , twas in 69 they last ventured to India ?] . After A tours and a full fledged tour later they did take the Indians down in 04 ... The current aus team is an honest working class team that got hammered on their home turf by a very good English side. Not a rosy road ahead !
@GetBackToNowhere You've been on top for long. Give other nations a chance now. For the sake of cricket, I'd want WI, NZ , Pak and Bangladesh to pull their game up and seriously challenge England, India and South Africa.
@Imrankniazi : seriously man, itd only be good for cricket, thats why i miss the 90s..where except SL & IND (they were ordinary then), all teams were competitve, even ZIM...
@dumbfcks : After the 69 tour and before the one off 96 test,Australia had 2 tours, to India;one in 1979 but more famously, the one in 1986 which featured the unforgettable tied test at Madras, unforgettable at least for those who were lucky enough to be alive to see it..
@dumbfcks : Not quite..I'm from Bangalore (unfortunately for me a venue where Aussies seem to have a particular fondness for winning) and was about a month old at the time of the tied test although I've had relatives who watched the match at the ground & have since regaled me many a time with the tales of Deano's epic double hundred battling nausea & dehydration & that memory has been firmly etched into my subconscious mind..Aussies certainly improved in Indian conditions after this tour though

It's the same as recent times. Aus have a very shit series so they're obviously going to be shit for the next 10 years as well.
I mean, after losing this series in 1998 they didn't do anything for the next 10 years?
Wait..Didn't they win 3 world cups?

He dropped four in a day against the Indians in Adeliade in '92, if I remember correctly.

@mymentor Yeah that was bad!!! Thats why he was so amazed when he caught Azharuddin, it was a stunner! The ones he dropped were sitters.
